Southern Africa apparently has a vaccination rate at around 6% unless Ive misread the data. The WHO claims this is largely due to rich nations hogging the vaccine and not contributing enough to the covax program. Another issue is the IP that drug companies retain which prevents poor countries from manuafacturing the drugs.

How Long Before Chinese Warships are Docked in Sattahip ?

Really? The Chinese ruled Vietnam for 1,000 years https://medium.com/@sushisev/the-rich-history-of-vietnam-the-4-periods-of-chinese-domination-16acbf426071 -
Why single out Beta? We had the same reaction to Alpha and Delta as well Remember "15 going down to zero" and "It will be gone before easter"? Waiting until we know we have a deadly plague that will kill millions before we act doesn't seem that prudent to me. There are better game plans. What we actually need is a hard and fast lock down until we know what we are dealing with and can then make an educated plan.

How Long Before Chinese Warships are Docked in Sattahip ?

You saved me the trouble of pointing that out. The exact math doesn't matter. -
Yes, lets under react because you know, under reacting is always better than over reacting when it comes to a pandemic. It's called insurance. Restrictions can always be lifted, a runaway pandemic not so much.

How Long Before Chinese Warships are Docked in Sattahip ?

It will never happen. China is not capable of winning any conventional war against the US. They are a military power mostly because of the threat of mutual destruction through the use of nuclear weapons. The US military budget remains much larger than that of China. -
is booster vaccine required after two Astrazena jabs?
ozimoron replied to fvw53's topic in Health and Medicine
Infection isn't the biggest concern by far. The real concern is serious illness and death yet somehow you chose not to mention that problem. Your agenda is obviously to dissuade people from vaccinating, you're not fooling anybody. The bigger picture is that the AZ vaccination remains HIGHLY EFFECTIVE against serious illness and death for a much longer period of time. Furthermore, it reduces infection transmissions in the event of an infection. The reason is that the viral load in the nasal cavity is much less and doesn't last as long.- 62 replies

Shopping for surgery to repair inguinal hernia
ozimoron replied to cmarshall's topic in Health and Medicine
I have an inguinal hernia for about 5 years now. An ultrasound showed it to be about 1 inch wide at the top. Two doctors and a urologist told me not to do anything about it unless it bothers me. That said there are two kinds of inguinal hernia. The one I don't have can twist the veins going to your scrotum and is dangerous. -
In the past I have arrived visa exempt and converted that to a non O visa on expiry. I was told at the time by the agent that it was less expensive to get a 60 day TR visa in advance and convert that to a non O on expiry. Which is best now? Can an agent still do this? I already have a bank account at Bangkok Bank. Do I need an outward bound ticket? Is there anything else I should know about the visas? All other requirements I can research myself.

I've just had a urologist suggest Duodart. Does anybody have any experience with that?

Germany’s Fourth Covid Wave: ‘A Pandemic of the Unvaccinated’
ozimoron replied to Jeffr2's topic in COVID-19 Coronavirus
German politicians are debating making COVID-19 vaccinations compulsory for citizens in light of soaring infections and low inoculation rates. "We've reached a point at which we must clearly say that we need de facto compulsory vaccination and a lockdown for the unvaccinated," https://www.reuters.com/business/healthcare-pharmaceuticals/germany-debates-compulsory-vaccination-fourth-covid-wave-rages-2021-11-21/
