  1. And yet fringe media, with even more incentive to boost circulation aren't motivated to boost circulation with click bait?
  2. The vaccines are known to reduce infections (transmission) significantly. Given this fact it is statistically impossible that "the vaccine has done nothing to slow the spread". You may have data but you don't seem to have information. What is different now than last year is the delta variant, a far more infectious variant than what was prevalent at that time. The main reason we have the delta variant is that a lack of lock downs and social distancing increased the likely mutation rate of the then prevalent variant.
  3. Here's a clue https://www.reuters.com/world/us/los-angeles-expected-pass-covid-19-vaccine-mandate-school-students-2021-09-09/
  4. He said it wasn't inevitable. It is nevertheless disingenuous at best to paraphrase instead of quoting to suit your own agenda. Show me where the pentagon or the intel community advised him that the Afghan govt would soon fall.
  5. At least in that video he did not use the word "lies". There was no mention of Pentagon advice that a fall was imminent.
  6. So, I watched that video and nowhere did Biden use either the word "lies" or "false information" He only quoted what his advisors had told him. I would have done the same.
  7. They did not. The pentagon said they were surprised and did not expect the fall to happen so quickly. Show me where they gave him that advice.
  8. One of the U.S. officials said that between 40 and 50 aircraft had been flown to Uzbekistan by Afghan pilots seeking refuge. Current and former officials say that while they are concerned about the Taliban having access to the helicopters, the aircraft require frequent maintenance and many are complicated to fly without extensive training. "Ironically, the fact that our equipment breaks down so often is a life-saver here," a third official said. Retired U.S. Army General Joseph Votel, who oversaw U.S. military operations in Afghanistan as head of U.S. Central Command from 2016 to 2019, said most of the high-end hardware captured by the Taliban, including the aircraft, was not equipped with sensitive U.S. technology. "In some cases, some of these will be more like trophies," Votel said. https://www.reuters.com/business/aerospace-defense/planes-guns-night-vision-goggles-talibans-new-us-made-war-chest-2021-08-19/
  9. Fox news is a good source of Russian propaganda. Just tune in to carlson to get the talking points.
  10. Most of them were rendered permanently inoperable
  11. None of that was provided by Trump of course. Aid <> equipment. Like I said, the figure bandied about by the Russian propaganda relates to total expenditure over 20 years. You can also be assured that the good stuff was not left behind.
  12. That was the total amount spent since about 2001. It was not the current value of the hardware. The same thing happened in Vietnam and across the world after WW2
  13. duck, weave, deflect. Who will be the Republican nominee in 2024?
  14. what part of lifelong speech impediment don't you understand?
  15. Nobody said that but most Americans agree that leaving Afghanistan was the right thing to do. The same can't be said about abandoning the Kurds who were our main allies in fighting ISIS.
  16. And Trump has no Kurdish blood on his hands, right?
  17. While at the same time pretending that Trump didn't abandon our Kurdish allies or hold the Ukranians to ransom.
  18. Yeah, it's all over the right wing media sites.
  19. It's relevant because, probable criminal convictions aside, Trump will be his opponent at the next election.
  20. I thought it was a rhetorical question because a quick google search would have answered your question.
