We paid an agent 7,000 baht in Bangkok. He did all the legwork, papers,translation, no waiting in lines. He was even the witness and photographer. Still married. Lots of agents in front the building.

There was a little coffee/cafe across the street. I think for 100 baht or so filled in and organised all your paperwork to hand in. It's convienant, especially without your Thai speaking wife around to assist you. Have a Safe trip!

If you go the buying route, get one that you can replace the power hose. I bought a few on Lazada, cheaper than any shop but impossible to cover the 1 year warranty. I'm using the Storm, works great. Look around probably cheaper options.

It's actually 8.5 million after deducting. Salaries, bills, etc. That's not including whatever gets skimmed off by the rest of the mafia running the show.

And you've got the option to expand it if you need to. Newer high end Samsung phones aren't coming with the option of an expandable SD storage slot. Unfortunate if you like to take 4K/8k videos.
