Out of all the fraud and overcharging of tourists that goes on thousands of times every single day around the country, this is the crime they decide to go after?

"...this is the crime they decide to go after?"

No, it was just one crime that this one team of officers went after, there are plenty of other crimes being investigated by plenty of other RTP officers.

    Why can't you pay?

Because that would mean they're working without a permit.

How would you know that but what business would that be of yours, anyway?    Would you be planning on reporting him after he'd helped you out?

Few questions here for a friend of mine regarding a purchase of condo ...
Last but not least, considering there's a new foreign income tax requirement active since 01 Jan 2024, would this mean I will be also taxed in Thailand on the amount that has been remitted?

"Few questions here for a friend of mine..."

"...would this mean I will be also taxed..."

What makes you ask if you will be taxed in respect of "your friend" bringing in funds?

Blacklisted at all airlines?? Sounds impossible. Could you elaborate on who did this "blacklisting" and where was it done?

This has nothing to do with the op.

If you are interested in the topic "blacklist"you can start your own thread

You may need to wind your neck in a bit!   He can do whatever the fck he wants to do on here.

I was just told that if I have pool villas I rent out to guests for less than one month that I will need to obtain a “ Hotel license”

The internet is a very useful thing.

Apparently, if the building has less than four bedrooms and can occupy a maximum of 20 people, a hotel licence is exempted.    The district office is the place to apply.

Really?  That'll be useful. I'll have to speak to my local Immigration office about that, they issue Certificates of Residency for B200, that'll save a lot of hassle!

Give it a try, no, demand PR be issued to you on the spot, for lifetime.

Don't forget to share the result.

I didn't say that I'd be demanding PR, I referred to the IB issuing certificates of residency.  No need to post the result, everyone knows that it will be successful because that's one of the things they do.
