  4. Hi Is there currently an app for TM 30? Please don't reply unless you are presently making use of the app. I know there used to be an Android app in past. Thanks
  5. hi I have a rental contract for an apartment. Can I self-register on the TM30 website as I prefer not to go through the owner? Has anyone one recently done it? What documents did you use? The Immigration website says 1. Business license or signed copy of business registration confirmation 2. Letter of authorization to conduct the registration 3. Copy of ID card of person giving authorization person I have no. 1 & 3 already. I don't have no 2. Any ideas or suggestions by those who have done it? Thanks
  6. @DodgerRodger seemingly you only need one cert if applying for car and bike per other reports on this website
  7. @DrJack54 yeah this option seems to be very new. Too late for the 15th so I will have to get a queue number for this
  8. @DrJack54 Is this done at the 90-Day reporting desks or ..... How long did you have to wait to get served? I will be doing my Annual Retirement renewal and then a Re-Entry Permit, both booked via online.
  9. Hi I posted a few weeks back and got some good advice. I will be going Changwattana next week for my Annual Retirement Visa extension. I will also be getting a Certificate of residence from Changwattana. Do I need to provide a copy of my Rental Agreement for the Certificate. or maybe a better-phrased question is - What documents will they ask for for the Certificate? Thanks
  10. @DrJack54 thanks for your posting but the OP is about exchanging a home license for a Thai license, not the renewal of
  11. Hi Has anyone recently exchanged their home country's Driving License for a Thai one at Mor Chit? Did you make a booking online first or just arrive early? What test did you have to if you already have a Driving License from your home country? Thanks
  12. One of the better methods is to use boiled water in the chamber and use a paper coffee filter. I use a basic Bialetti (4 cups). The Moka pot metal conducts heat very efficiently and if you start with room-temperature water, you are burning the coffee grinds as the water boils. Brew it with the lid open and as soon as the coffee begins to come through, remove it from the heat and be careful not to over-extract the coffee as this is the main reason why many people give up on their Moka purchases after a while. Give it a try. There is a very significant taste difference between starting with boiled water and room temperature. There is a subtle difference between using a paper filter and no paper filter.
  13. @Liquorice Then another reason to favour retirement over marriage visa. Rather demeaning to have to produce your spouse imho
  14. @Liquorice with a 'Marriage Visa', are you required to present your wife at Immigration for their initial 12-month permission to stay and subsequent extensions?
  15. @DrJack54 Is this an option for making an appointment for the "Confirmation of Address @ Changwattana"?
  16. Hi Does anyone have a link to download the form needed for a Certificate of residence? What docs are Changwattana looking for? Cost? Thanks
  17. @CharlieH Thanks @KhunBENQ Thanks for the reply. Depending on your life experiences you would understand that some countries invalidate the original license. Try being polite when replying. It adds to happiness on this forum.
  18. Hi Any member recently exchanged their home country driving license at Mor Chit DLT for a Thai one? Do I need an IDP if my license is in English? Do they keep or invalidate your home driving license? What tests does one have to do if only exchanging licenses instead of applying for a Driving License? Thanks
  19. @DrJack54 Thanks for the quick reply. "Re other passport page photocopies" - Other than the main page (photo, details), last year's renewal stamp and most recent entry, what other pages must be copied? @Upnotover Thanks for the reply. Interesting as I've not read about not having to photocopy each page of the bank book. Thanks
  20. Hi Has anyone recently done an annual renewal/extension of a Retirement Visa at Changwattana? Each Immigration office has different rules so I'm just asking about Changwattana (thanks). I am doing the 800k on deposit as opposed to monthly transfers. A few questions (if I may) I can apply up to 45 days (at Changwattana(? Are they asking for 12-month Bank Statements in addition to each page of the Bank books being copied? Are they asking for a copy of the most recent 90-day report (TM47) Any other new requirements at CW Thanks for the assistance.
  21. Good morning I'm due to do a 90-day report towards the end of this month. I will be traveling to Europe July 12th (I have a re-entry permit). If I experience similar issues to members who can't file on line, would there be an issue if I just ignore reporting when next I need to do (probably November). Thanks
  22. @XD1 at Phuket thanks for the reply. Which one have you used before?
