  1. There was an earlier post (which I can't locate now -- this topic already has 22 pages!) by a successful applicant who, if I recall correctly, was 3 weeks into the review process when he got a new document request, and ended up getting approval about a week after that.
  2. Hopefully won't have to wait till the day of expiration, but it's good to know it's possible. Thanks!
  3. Thanks, Dr Jack. That puts my mind somewhat at ease. Usually I renew over a month in advance but, alas, not possible this year. When you say "up till date of expiry of permission of stay" does that include the day itself, for example, if the date stamped in the passport is October 26, is it possible to apply on the 26th? (Not an ideal situation, to be sure, and hopefully not necessary, but better to know just in case.)
  4. The 12-month "retirement extension" of my Non O is coming up and due to factors beyond my control, I may not be able to get to CW till the week or maybe even a day or two before the expiration date. Advice would be appreciated regarding the feasibility of getting an extension on such short notice (my financials are in order) or if an agent might be better able to handle it (and, if so, any recommended agents/agencies). Thanks!
