DBath  Would it change your mind if you were being taken into an ICU unit and took to a young Nurses bed where she is on a life support due to taking care of a Covid patient.  She was healthy with no health concerns until she probably gave her life to help someone infected. Problem in Thailand is they've gone for the cheap Charlie Vaccine which i believe has only been given up to 20% effective.

I bet the high ranking Thai Governors were not given the cheap charlie vaccine.

After over 15 years of coming to Thailand as a visitor of up to 2 Months staying I have finally been driven away by all the Scams. A visitor should be given curtesy but in Thailand i have noticed in the last few years you are now not wanted you are just a target for scams and assaults how many in Phuket, for instance how many tuk tuk drivers or jet ski scammers  that have assaulted tourists been charged ? even Security staff filmed attacking tourists were not prosecuted the next night they were working at a different club. So from now on its a two hour flight to the sun and Sangria for me. I won't be one of the twenty million flying there. 

Funny Australia gave 60 million Dollars to Thailand to aid there vaccine programme, yet the Thai Government have refused Australian Expats a vaccine before a National. All country's who are sending aid or thinking of off loading spare Vaccines should look closely who the vaccine is being given too, if there expats are being discriminated then the aid and vaccines should be stopped untill the expats are vaccinated at the same time as a national. It is now May and so far only 1% of Thais have been vaccinated. How long do you think it will take the Thai government to vaccinate its full population, and then like posted 2 jabs will be needed plus a booster. Expats will not be inoculated next year. Even if you pay privately you will be shafted and given the cheap Chinese vaccine that no country wants. Wait till you renew your visa they will tell you you will need to be vaccinated and because you have not been vaccinated you will be thrown out of Thailand. If you try and leave to get your vaccine in your home country the Thai government will simply say sorry you need the Thai vaccine so you will be shafted that way.

Even when it calms down and people ie Tourists will be visiting do you real'y believe it will be cheap as in discounts in Thai Resorts ?. There response will be opposite ramp up everything to make up for lost revenue at the expense of yep you guessed it the Tourist. Most destinations wanting tourism to return will bend over backwards and give a healthy discount to encourage you to return. Sadly Mr Somchai does not think this way he thinks because Joe Tourist is so happy to return to Thailand he will over charge him for everything Som Nam Nah.

The blame game starts at the top from the Minister for Health Anutin Charnvirakul blamed falangs last year for not wearing Mask's in Bkk when he told everyone Falang's don't wash are Dirty and are not welcome in Thailand.
