Finding someone who isnt lazy/useless is a difficult task, in over 10 years Ive had only two good workers, the rest are useless. Many start off ok then within anything from a day to a month degenerate. Ive been through countless staff. They simply have no motivation and salary IS irrelevant....so ignore the pay peanuts get monkeys brigade of know it alls who are bound to throw in their drivel here. I have one guy lives on site, he gets 15k going up a 1000 a year + many other benefits, he might stay 18 months then gets bored, he keeps coming back after some time away, he doesnt drink..many do. Used him on and off for those 10 years. I can leave him alone he will get on with it, many when you have gone will sit on their lazy asses all day. He can take care of 15 rai with no problem, often had two staff previously who cant even manage it as they were lazy whingers. Your chance of finding someone reliable honest decnt are ....well...........slim. I include a motorbike, food, house, electric water etc Monthly will work out cheaper than by the job probably .

Extra cab models have no belts in the rear in Thailand, however models made for the Australian market do...certainly in my Chevrolet anyway..wonder if Chevvy would supply the parts to fit in Thailand....the interior panels have all the cut outs for the seatbelts and all the mountings, but nobelts.yeah its a tax thing also here

Good for your friend, The Thais need a good kick up the ares for their lack of service and then the ability for threatening others when they get a serious complaint which they are wholly at fault for. I did a similar thing with Honda once writing to head office in Japan and within a very short time got a beautifully written reply from Japan and had the dealer and head man in Thailand for Honda knocking on my door apologising. I kept the letter to this day.

Op's problem is down to the dealer, ive had various brands over the years Toyota Nissan Honda Chevrolet.its the dealers that are the problem. Recent visut ot my loacl EX Chevorolet dealer resulted in a 50 minute wait just to the the price of a part............theyre clueless......oh yeah they are selling GWM now so expect them to be just as clueless about customer service also. The end result was I service all my own vehicles even if I have to learn how to do it, most is not that hard. Personally Id be mouthing off to Toyota head office about them

Tell that to the DPF folk in Australia class action lawsuit or any BZ4X owners...........thats if they have any more than 3 wheels on their wagon left. Toyota are resting on their laurels too much . They like all manufacturers here can get away with a lot of under carpet sweeping if required. PS yeah I know its not Thailand..

Thai fittings should be renamed "cockinabucket" fittings theyre really krap threads.........youll need about 18-20 turns of ptfe starting thin build up to a pyramid shape at the end, always buy the fittings with the metal insertplastic ones again are krap, not perfect but better, then also add green pipefitting dope as mentioned ........ Before fitting the tap try it dry to calculate HOW MANY revolutions get you near to the upright position so when you do tighten it you know how many before it bottoms out. Half inch fittings are the worst it gets better with 3/4 inch for leaks and or splitting when over tight https://www.lazada.co.th/products/permatex-no51h-118-ml-100-i262179393-s403657700.html?exlaz=d_1:mm_150050845_51350205_2010350205::12:17724336665!!!!!c!!403657700!531910104&gclid=CjwKCAjw9NeXBhAMEiwAbaY4llLOcTVQBZ4l4hk98iJfdT1pO8Td2tQEo7MtxSkgJcbn2d05ITmIehoC-RAQAvD_BwE
