  1. No national embarassment no... embarassment would require one to have manners, ethics and "have a face" to begin with of which the Thais have neither.
  2. All that while being GPS tracked and monitored at your own expense 24/7. Thailand is done.
  3. This now confirms at 100% that Thailand has entered a totalitarism authoritarian era. GPS, facetracking, position tracking, no cap, no sunglasses, no eyeglasses, must be turned on at all times, uses your dataplan at your own expense, etc, etc, etc. We have now entered a new era, the Chinese masters will be pleased. I'm done with Thailand. I know I've said this before, but this time, I really mean it.
  4. Lack of skills and education you say? Do they even WANT to embrace a different World than what they are being trained through public school? If only the lack of skills or education were the only hurdles to overcome, we could eventually with time get past it. The reality is that Thais kids are being sent to schools at their youngest age and are being trained like animals in a circus, they are not being educated or taught how to do any criticism thinking, every morning they have to stand in uniforms right in front of the flagpole and must recite the national anthem, then while in class they are being fed lies about how privileged they are, how the Kingdom is the greatest nation on Earth, how the Thais are supposedly superior to the rest of the World (anyone not Thai) during the course of the entire scolarship, thus creating a false nationalistic rhetoric in the mindset of almost nearly every Thai. The damage being done at a such young age is going to leave marks, most of those "cases" are irreversible as the years go by, this is essentially what creates the "farang must pay double" mindset, giving us the "farang must pay" analogy that we must deal with when later we encounter them in the nightlife entertainment areas or across the touristic zones. The harsh reality is that out of all the bar girls I have sponsored VISA-wise over the years, bringing them over to Europe, none of them ever wanted to return back to the Kingdom, not a single one. Once they mature at a the age of 25+ and the reality hits them back, realizing how they have been lied to their entire lives, well... they just don't want to return to the Kingdom as they finally get to see what kind of deceptive cesspit it actually is. Fun fact: The first Thai girl I brought over to Europe, it took me weeks of arguing with her and explaining to her the general concept of "what a retirement pension is", she somehow could not understand no matter how hard she tried the general idea and concept of having your government essentially paying you a pension at retirement age based on your work history. She kept repeating "pay me for what?", "pay for what?", "I too old already pay for what?". It is not just a skills or education issue we are dealing with here, the issues arising today are rooted way deeper in the Thai society than just a matter of skillset or education. This is Thailand.
  5. Indeed that was a daft statement. Simply put, the military goons have to go and the xenophobic resentiment and rheotoric towards foreigners along with them.
  6. Oh trust me my friend, they see it. They definitely see it, but they couldn't care less as they are not the average Somchai, they are not affected by it by any means.
  7. Let me fix your post: You mean no one wants to deal with the constantly moving goal posts and jump through the interminable hoops required to enter a deserted, devastated entertainment adult industry, shuttered down for good all across Thailand? What a surprise! Imagine jumping through all the expensive hoops only to end up on a deserted Walking Street, Soi Buakhao, Patong, Phuket, etc with a nasty curfew, no alcohol being served in restaurants/dining places and no nightlife at all. What a bargain!... NOT.
  8. What are the odds that whoever drafted that list typed in Google search "List of European countries" then translated it to Thai and copy/pasted it using a very very very VERRRYYY outdated list of European countries dating all the way back to the 80's back when the Czech Republic and Slovakia were one and only one country under the name Czechoslovakia? Nothing would surprise me anymore afterall, this is Thailand. TIT.
  9. Don't worry, I edited my post and added a few dozens unique reasons to (not) come to Thailand!
  10. Come for what did you ask? - The "beautiful" slimey beaches of Pattaya? - The rabid but very friendly soi dogs roaming everywhere? - The warm weather with a free very high 2.5PM unbreathable air? - The gigatons of plastic trash washed ashore everywhere? - The atrocious never ending Bangkok trafic jams? - The farang double pricing policy? - The "farang must pay" attitude? - The RTP sponsored, "plastic bag over your head" life-changing truly unique experience? - The ladyboys of Soi 7? Plenty of reasons to come to Thailand! Take your pick!
  11. Pay attention as how the list is Alphabetically sorted but then Hong Kong which starts with the letter H is listed as very last on the 46th spot. The Chinese masters will be pleased.
  12. Posters on TV seem to not pay attention to a very crucial detail; What is posted in the Royal Gazette becomes law, de-facto. Brace yourselves, this is happening.
  13. And that is what matters the most, posters on TV seem to not pay attention to this very crucial detail. What is posted in the Royal Gazette becomes law, de-facto. Brace yourselves, this is happening.
  14. That is the right attitude of a "proper" expat, right there. I wish some would learn from their peers instead of complaining 24/7.
  15. In the meantime, for the most up-to-date information (updated hourly). I recommend visiting https://asq.in.th/thailand-pass
  16. France, Spain, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Cyprus and Malta these are the "new" places to be. - No silly visas rules or immigration hoops to jump through. Got an EU ID card? That's all you need! - No gouging atrocious currency exchanges to watch out for. Got some EUR cash on you? That's all you need! - No more 12 hours flights sitting right next to a mother with young kids screaming in your eardrums. Hop on a 2~3 hours flight max for 15~35 EUR at best. (Hi RyanAir! Hi WizzAir!). That's all you need! Dear Thailand, you're done for good.
  17. Dynamic IP address that was changed instantly afterwards. Then again who cares? Do you really think the RTP will go after me? Nice one.
