  1. Thanks. Booked appointment. Docs are clear. Pretty sure all will be fine. I had success there back in 2006. But I'm sure different officials at embassy not in Hanoi.
  2. Has anyone been successful in getting an appointment in less than 2 weeks?
  3. I checked Hanoi embassy website and couldn't find anything to make an appointment. Where as HCM quite informative of appointment process. I'm hopeful of not needing to wait 2 weeks for appointment. Are you saying Hanoi is overly strict? Or just urging on side of caution?
  4. Dear all, After a brief sabitical I have been offered a job in Thailand and have to obtain B visa from outside country. FYI I am a British citizen and not a teacher. I would like to do this at Thai embassy in Vietnam. May I ask what has been everyone's experience for using the embassy in Hanoi or HCM. Company will supply all docs to support. I'm hearing it can take 3 business days, e.g. apply Monday morning pick up Wednesday afternoon. Hanoi appears just to allow walk in. HCM embassy requests booking online appointment 2 weeks in advance :/ Is either embassy more stricter than the other? Thanks in advance for advice.
  5. I know several people who have single entry O Visa and get extension to stay based on work. So I'd like to know if same applies to multiple-entry nono-O visa.
  6. Just bumping this post in case anyone can offer some experience Hanoi vs HCM. Thanks in advance.
  7. Thanks Tim, So it is actually possible for my company to do extension on permission to stay on the multiple-entry nono-O visa 1 year visa then, thus avoiding having to leave every leave every 90 days?
  8. Thanks Tim, So to be clear. The issuing of a WP on a multiple-entry nono-O visa does not change the maximum period of stay on this visa (90 days) I would still need to hop over boarder and come back every 90days. Do I understand this correctly? Can an extension to stay at the expiration of current permission to stay be considered/issued based on a obtaining a WP?
  9. Can anyone assist with my question please. I recently left my old job and B visa cancelled. I no longer want to rely on employers for my extension of stay in Thailand. So, I'm thinking to get multiple-entry nono-O visa from savannakhet then any company can attach a WP to it. My question is, if I get multiple-entry nono-O visa and after new company issue WP do I still have to exit every 90 days? Thanks in advance for advice.
  10. Dear All, Just would like to ask if anyone has any experience obtaining B Visa from Hanoi and HCM, and which embassy was the most straight forward? Thanks in advance.
  11. Thank you Once you get WP do you think you will still have to exit every 90 days as per MENO max length of stay conditions?
  12. Thank you.... Do you know ( or does anyone else know ) can a WP be attached to MENO?
  13. Thanks Webguy. Is there a required period 400k needs to be in bank account for? Did you need bank statements? Did you need letter from bank? Thanks in advance.
  14. Yes currently in Thailand on Non Imm B with extension of stay until March 2024. I plan to resign from my current job soon and take a break. I believe I can transfer onto non-o marriage/child dependent (I have a 2 year old daughter with my wife who was born here). 400k was in a joint savings account. I understand it must be only in my account. But we only found this out this week and subsequentlytransferredto my own account. I plan to resign mid Nov. I'm concerned the length of time money on my own account won't be deemed long enough. We have all the other docs. Thanks for any advice.
