I know the police is all over the place in central pattaya but how is it around darkside, is it possible to drive around the bars up there on a motorbike without getting caught by the bibs? I dont get drunk and drive but a few beers might happen.

Bump this thread. How is the stats today for pool leagues around darkside? Stil going on mondays and wednesdays?

I prefer to go out when the heat is gone, best time is between 10 pm until the sun goes up. You guyes who lives here could never have been in Thailand. But I have to admit that even if I like Leo a lot the beer is better here.

There is a lot of stunning ladies here though but I would never take that risk. Oboy what that can be expensive..

Been in Vientiane now for only 2 days and havnt seen anything then the area around the nightmarket where I live. I am surpriced how cheap food and drink is compare to Thailand, and tasty as well. Accommodating though isnt cheap, its about same as Thailand or a bit higher. But I might live in a pricy area now, 100m from nightmarket. People seems nice and Friendly but Thais are a bit faster to give you service. Here you might have to wait a few minutes before they give you the menu, but for me thats a good thing. So far its nice but for me nothing beats Thailand. But I might change, just 2 days here and 12 years in Thailand 😂😂 The really downside to Laos is that its illegal to have sex with Lao ladies unless you marry them first. But there is always the option of import from Udon Thani 😁

I am going to Vietiane to get a new Thai visa and the only time available at the embassy was on friday so I guess I am stuck there over the weekend and wonder what to do. Is there any things to see in daytime, night life.. ? Any tip appreciated 🙂 Also wonder about the embassy, map has 2 Thai Embassys, anyone knows which one it is?

There is no need to use deemoney, I have Bkk Bank and its now possible to transfer up to 2 milj baht/day directly from your Thai bank app and money arrives the next day so much faster than deemoney. I did this mon, thu and wed this week and worked perfect. But first you need to visit your Thai bank and ask them to open up so you are allowed to transfer 2 mil/day, was easy. In my Bkk Bank app there is an service named SWIFT, thats the one to use. Btw I transfered to Sweden but should be the same as Switzerland. But dont tell its income from Thailand, they might not like that you transfer that out of the country. I just sold my house and wrote Personal Expense and SOLD PROPERTY in the app and they never asked me for any proof.
