Personally, I think the Holiday Inn's seafood buffet on Saturdays is better.
You have a 10% early bird discount by booking the day before.

The buffet not only includes seafood; There are many more options.
Anyway, the seafood buffet is on Saturdays. There is also a barbecue buffet on another day.-

20.000 baht for a good condo.
20.000 baht for visa, medical insurance, short trips, and incidental expenses.
2000 baht/day for food, restaurants, shopping, massage, go out for a drink, transport, medicines,...
But of course you can do it with less.

I'm planning on living on around 800k to 1 million baht a year
With 100,000 baht a month you can live well in Pattaya, including the rent for the condo.
That would be 1,200,000 baht a year.-

Yes, the first thing I noticed in Nan is that it is the cleanest city I have seen in Pattaya.
No garbage in the streets or rats. Not a piece of paper.
Pretty and quiet, too. Perhaps too quiet to live, being a small provincial city.
The only reason I don't dare move there to live is because I'm afraid it might get boring after a while. -

I figured all the customers were Arabs (I can't tell an Arab from a Jew) only to recently take note of their sign. Mostly Middle Eastern customers, no smelly dudes in black suits and hats though, so I can be forgiven for mistaking one group for the other.
They use proper seasonings, not ketchup and mayonnaise like those horrid Turkish places do.

From this news and other similar ones, I get the impression that the Thais have finally realized that quality tourism, which really brings money, is the "farang", and not the hordes of Indians and Chinese who come all-inclusive, already paid at source to Chinese tour operators, and the vast majority of whom never visit a bar or a restaurant.
