So was at the Central Mall and stopped by the menu board the Hilton has on 06 level. 1500 baht for seafood buffet sat and sun. The ole lady gave a disgusted look because of price. Has anyone here tried it?

Personally, I think the Holiday Inn's seafood buffet on Saturdays is better.

You have a 10% early bird discount by booking the day before.

Does Hilton also has a bbq buffett, some people maybe not into seafood?

The buffet not only includes seafood; There are many more options.
Anyway, the seafood buffet is on Saturdays. There is also a barbecue buffet on another day.

    Too much !

60k a month should be enough

Even lower if I bought a small condo

60k a month should be enough.

With 100,000 baht a month you can live well:

20.000 baht for a good condo.

20.000 baht for visa, medical insurance, short trips, and incidental expenses.

2000 baht/day for food, restaurants, shopping, massage, go out for a drink, transport, medicines,...

But of course you can do it with less.

Nan - just back from there with the missus. Very friendly, quiet, helpful smiling, don't cheat - the small hotel owner picked us up from the airport for free and took us back. It's the old Thailand of yore. The place is spotlessly clean as well - people don't litter and not a ganja shop/massage/brothel/bar in site. They are in a "safe zone" on the city limits apparently. Oh and everything very very cheap but not nasty. A farang and his Thai wife were renting a big 2-story detached house down a quiet soi near the centre with a big garden for 5k a month.

Yes, the first thing I noticed in Nan is that it is the cleanest city I have seen in Pattaya.
No garbage in the streets or rats. Not a piece of paper.
Pretty and quiet, too. Perhaps too quiet to live, being a small provincial city.
The only reason I don't dare move there to live is because I'm afraid it might get boring after a while.

At that time they are not a problem, as if they were released after midnight and woke everyone up.

That would have been useful information, wouldn't it?

Está al lado del metro en Soi Diana, frente a Charlie Place.

Some young lads and I are working on a tunnel so we can access the place after hours. Wish us well.

And don't rat us out to the city officials!

    OK. I found it:

The best place in town has an Israeli flag discretely included on their sign.

I figured all the customers were Arabs (I can't tell an Arab from a Jew) only to recently take note of their sign.  Mostly Middle Eastern customers, no smelly dudes in black suits and hats though, so I can be forgiven for mistaking one group for the other.

They use proper seasonings, not ketchup and mayonnaise like those horrid Turkish places do.

    And, which place is that?

    Name of the restaurant?
