Another friend is considering going back to Canada because he is fed up/bored with Patong and has been financially shafted by one Thai girlfriend, thereby losing his business, and his latest Thai girlfriend has decided to dump him! Not a happy chappy, so I expect him to leave very shortly.

Sounds like a candidate for a condo high-floor balcony accident.

Six of my very good friends have had enough of Phuket and all six are leaving because of traffic. Another friend and his family of four just bought a house a relocated here from the UK. After just a few months, they are already looking for ways to leave.

How many of you have lost friends due to the 'progress' going on in Phuket?

Progress??  I thought it was the demographics.

  3. Issan Farang…have you ever been to a doctor on a regular basis?  To have that many significant issues, it seems apparent you never cared enough for your health to have routine visits.  You didn’t list anything in your colon except for your prostate, but if you’ve never had a colonoscopy…maybe get ready for more good news.

One of the most wonderful aspects of living in this day and age is that giving birth is now a decision, it's a choice, it's not something that's mandated like it was in the past, and many many couples are simply saying NO! We are not going to have children, or we're only going to have one child.

Raising children has become very expensive, the world's becoming incredibly complicated, and a lot of us are just saying why on earth would I want to bring a child into this world right now?

Hopefully the birthrates will continue to decline worldwide, it will mean lower GDP, it will mean a loss of labor force, there will probably be a certain amount of pain, but overall it's good for the planet.

Labor shortages - maybe human labor will likely continue to get replaced by automation...self check-outs at stores, self order kiosks, autonomous driving cars/trucks, robotic manufacturing, etc.   Raising babies in LOS appears to be cheap, just continue to offload the kids to the grandmothers to care for and raise.

Any Amphur nation wide they have a central data base, take your marriage cert. 20 baht takes about 15min MAX for Kor Ror 2, if your wife has changed her name to yours then I would get a copy of that cert. too. It is the same size as the marriage one but with green floral around it.

This isn't for someone that is currently married, this is for a single person to show they are single and free to get married.

Does the Kor For 2 serve the same purpose...showing the person is single and/or showing the person is already married??

    Thanks.

  6. What were the injuries??

There's not mention of any injuries....hmm.

An influencer was shocked, black out and was rushed to the hospital.

When one hears anything happening to an "Influencer", the first thought that comes to mind is a staged incident, not saying this is one of them but when they go on to give no specifics of the alleged incident just her word it happened, it does throw some shade on it. Also, her saying in and out of the hospital means she wasn't hospitalized there for 10 days but the article would lead many to think that if they were paying attention.

    Yea...that's what I was thinking.

"Look left. Look right, Look left again-Brit hit by bike"

That could have been why!   For traffic that drives on the left, i.e. it will be approaching pedestrians from their right, it should be "Look right, look left, look right again".

100 percent true....I said the same on another post where the dude on the big bike launched quickly when the light turned green and was nailed hard by a car.   Some dip ___ tried to say the opposite.  L/R/L is correct for traffic driving on the right side, but that's not in Thailand.
