I doubt this…just watch, the closer we get to Songkran, the baht will begin it’s climb, and after the holiday, it’ll fall again and probably gradually loose through out the low season.  The same happened last year and as we got closer to high season, it began to fall.

Labor shortages - maybe human labor will likely continue to get replaced by automation...self check-outs at stores, self order kiosks, autonomous driving cars/trucks, robotic manufacturing, etc.   Raising babies in LOS appears to be cheap, just continue to offload the kids to the grandmothers to care for and raise.

That could have been why!   For traffic that drives on the left, i.e. it will be approaching pedestrians from their right, it should be "Look right, look left, look right again".  

100 percent true....I said the same on another post where the dude on the big bike launched quickly when the light turned green and was nailed hard by a car.   Some dip ___ tried to say the opposite.  L/R/L is correct for traffic driving on the right side, but that's not in Thailand.

Yes.  And you can often buy a car for the same cost of renting for a year.  I'm in a 2012 Alerma, a real POC.  The same car, same year, and  similar km sell for what I will pay rent for that car after only 13 months.  Same with a longterm motorbike rental.
