Look right, look left, and look right again......As you rightly say, pounded into us, and I for one am glad it was.
Not here in Thailand....it's look right, left, then right again.

that was kinda my original question.
where is their money coming from?
I wonder the same for UK and/or EU that come here for 60-90 days each year. How do you support yourself and how do you leave your work back home for 2 or 3 months?

Honestly, the vast differences in rates between private and government hospitals leaves one's mind boggled. Especially if you consider that both provide acceptable care and treatment.
Hopefully the on-going government discussions about rates at private hospitals will be successful in narrowing the gap.
"Honestly" yea, right. I wouldn't take my dog to a gov't hospital. The only two I will get care from are either Bumrungrad or BK H. If you find other providers acceptable, good for you. Everyone has a choice where they get their healthcare.

Buy a signal generator, adjust it to 19kHz, adjust the volume about 90 dB, and soon no problems anymore with that dogs.
Do you have a suggestion for where to buy and the specific item?

I always suspect bottled water in Thailand as maybe not safe drinking water.
Using bottled water from Makro/7-11/Big C in a kettle always resulted in a film floating on the water after the kettle finished heating - always, no matter what brand, no matter how large or small the bottle was.
After I started using a Stiebel Eltron UF filtration system, I never see any type of film in the kettle, and never see any water deposits.
Separate but related, but not in Thailand...a few years ago in Turkey, I always got Montezuma's Revenge by day 2 or 3 in Turkey. Many trips, in two years, always the same. Once after getting a single bottle of water from a shop (like a 7/11, Family Mart style shop), I didn't remember the plastic bottle cap seal break open. Hmm, but I wasn't sure. A few hours later while walking in the city, I saw young boys pulling wagons/carts full of empty drinking bottles. I thought maybe they were selling them for recycling. I watched them go to a public fountain with the water spigot continuously running water. The fountain was filthy disgusting. That was in Turkey.

Having a dozen soda waters listing to the guys talking crap must be entertaining.
If the drunk has already had a few, they don't ever notice. Get a lemon in your club soda, drink with a straw....looks like a vodka & club soda.

Why are there any lines to begin with...Thai drivers have zero lane discipline. Take up two lanes drifting with no clear signal of what their intentions are. It's probably due to not being able to see where they are driving because of the black tint windows

And also a 'safe and friendly family destination'.

Grammer police...."MIGHT PROBABLY" is redundant and incorrect English. "ADVISED"...is a recommendation and not the same as a directive, or an order or mandate.

I didn't read where the OP said how much he earns per month, and that amount may not be his total take every month. Some people like to invest in the their future and don't spend their entire earnings each month. Some may have that much each month as disposable income.

I did not find any meat to the 'scheme'...what exactly will they do differently? Advertise the 'scheme' for public release will not do much.

In all my life of reading news and mishap reports, I’ve never read one such as this. It’s always, always always reported or information provided in the news article or repot the airlines name and both the origination and destination. Go do some journalism in some place that no one knows or expects something informative….maybe the local high school has an opening.

Move on please, nothing here to see. Pattaya is a safe and family friendly destination for all foreigners.

What exactly did he do...I read nothing but 'fluff', nothing specific about all those inflated descriptions - "demonstrated exceptional ethical standards and transparency in their operations".

Did he actually rape her or did he assault her?
Quality journalism, as always.

I see this a lot, same with TPN reporters. One reporter has a profile with interests that included "story telling". Insensitive to family or friends of victims.
