I agree....it is a smart, tactical move. They are currently rising in the polls, filling stadiums and generally riding high. Why do anything other than ride the wave whilst it lasts? If the polls dip...inevitably?.....then they might have to consider a different approach. If you are winning the battle.....why stick your head over the parapet.
