I would go the passport, airline ticket and airport route as others have suggested.
If he was my friend I would wait at airport for him just in case with extra cash.
I would also give him additional cash, lets say another 10,000 baht.
This might help when it comes to ''negotiating'' the length of ban.
It all depends how good a friend he is, I guess.
Saying that if he was my friend he wouldn't be in this mess in the first place.
Good luck!!

There are far more law abiding citizens that have been victimised and killed by criminals. My sympathy is with them. There is nothing extremist about that.

The family certainly aren't poor. Weren't they awarded millions before it even went to trial?

Good point. He put a gun to a pregnant woman's stomach while his partner pistol whipped her and robbed her. That was hardly mentioned on MSM.
Didn't the coroner originally say that there were no signs of strangulation and asphyxiation but enough Fentanyl in him to kill a horse.
I care more about victims rights than a criminals rights. Karma is a b1tch.

lol completely opposite experience for me
Agents have been superb never a single problem into 33rd year of coming and 3 times bent over backwards to assist me including just 2 weeks ago when China Southern completely cancelled flights using there 787 Dreamliners
Travel Trolley bent over backwards to inform assist and refund monies in days
People simply cannot grasp that agents like TT Trip.com Mytrip etc etc etc provide massive bookings and income for airlines and when those airlines are told we need this sorted for the client thats exactly what happens
Now you try that with booking direct. Both Eva and Etihad were complete basketcases and thats being poilte when I had minor issues to sort out
When you book direct with an airline, if you have an issue at the airport you can always go to the airline office or check in desk to sort it out.
If you go through a third party you won't be able to do this, they will tell you to contact the agent. Trying to make calls in transit in Dubai for an example could be a pain and stressful.
Its always best to book direct with the airline even if it costs 10 to 20 quid more.
What minor issues did you need sorting out with EVA and Ethiad that make them basket cases? I've never had an issue with either.

I would take a Thai university over a UK/USA university any-day.
You don't get all the woke nonsense from the teachers and students in Thai universities.
There are no protests outside the universities (Palestine is a good example), no rainbow flags flying high, no 100 genders BS, the students just get on with their studies.
A quarter the cost for the uni fees. Safer campuses, unlikely to be shot or stabbed. Accommodation cheaper and better. Its great for foreign students, many attend already. Look at Chula and Mahidol for example.
Many of the better Thai universities are twinned with European universities already. The actual syllabus's are the same, its all down to the students. The international schools in Thailand are fantastic, so are many of the universities.

You may be surprised, but I will make the case for "Thailand Campus".
Harvard, Cambridge, Massachusetts, USA campus has become infested with Cultural Marxism, in all its variants.
Thailand is mostly free of that, although some is seeping in.
So if there is any advantage to Thailand being a "hub" for higher education, it could be that it is largely free from the afflictions dragging down Western universities.
We have a winner at last!!!

Used to be the go to for everything back in the day, foreign driver's licences, fake university degrees etc.
Some of them were quite good too. One guy I knew used the fake UK driver's licence to hire and drive a car back in the UK!
Better value was found in some of the lesser known fake certs though, such as PADI diver certs etc. Some fake certs even helped guy get employment offshore!
Why not just use his Thai driving license to rent a car in the UK?
PADI diver working offshore?
I'm calling BS twice.

I had intended to go Vietnam when my 90 days were up (60+30) but bit of an issue back in the UK over tax which it needs my intervention (only said different thread about a week ago about how slow HMRC is via Government Gateway)......I'm going need to do letters and see accountant so bite the bullet
Anyway. Last Christmas day I flew Singapore back to London really cheap obviously because Xmas day
Checked out prices with my favourite agent Travel Trolley and one way back to Gatwick (normal transit) on China Southern was just on 25th December.......£182 !!
Eticketed with an hour as always by TT so thought lets have look at buying round ticket back out to Thailand 10th January to end of March (should give me enough time to sort HMRC)
Up comes China Eastern.....China Southern will be my 31st different airline too or from Thailand but China Eastern I had been with before (trip report in this sub forum from around last March)
£404 !! Standard transits again yes slightly longer routing that the ME carriers but doesnt bother me
Several agents had it at £392 to £398 but my trust in Travel Trolley as always gets the vote
(I am wondering if I will need that onward ticket because the overall trip length will exceed the 60 days covered by Visa Exempt entry)
Edited in....seeing as onward ticket is only $7 be daft not to get it
Theres value out there for sure
Takes too long, false economy. Bite the bullet and go nonstop.

Great for checking flights. Then book direct with the airline. Its better than going through a 3rd party if things go t1ts up.

I regularly fly Emirates, and never book and pay for seat selection. Wait til check in and ask the Checker-In what seats are available. I think you can also do it for free via on-line check in.
No Guarantees you will get a seat of your preference. I'd rather pay a relatively small amount for a seat. Its still not guaranteed BTW, read the small print, but 99% of the time you should get the seat you paid for.

Does anybody know where I can get a company stamp made up in Hua Hin?

What a wonderful thing proof is.
Do you have any?
BTW, unless London has left the UK. it wasn't in Europe the last time I looked.
Also "we" is plural, and I don't remember asking you to speak for me, or speak for anybody else for that matter.
Geography not your strong point then? Lol.
The proof will be on the CCTV footage and phones.

Lawyer fees to buy and sell a house are about 15k baht, using a good lawyer but frankly you don't get much for that. My best tip when buying a property is to have the Land Office survey the boundaries of the land and make sure there are no surprises.
Will they come out and do a survey if asked?
What is their normal fee for this?

Do you mean you're eligible for class 2 for past gaps or for future contributions as well. The Gov recently abolished class 2 so must pay class 3 now...currently about 900 GBP per year. 🤔
Only for past gaps. If I pay the 15 years now I will be paid up. I will have paid a total of 40 years. In my case it was 41 years but I got a free year when I was 16 at college. There is a big difference between class 2 and class 3 as I am sure you know. I left the UK in 1998. I made a payment 15 years ago and in hindsight probably overpaid. Every case is different, it is not as straight forward as some people will tell you.

There's a deadline for paying additional NI contributions going back more than 6 years of 5 April 2025. I started the application process online today thinking there'd be plenty of time.
I was therefore surprised to learn there is currently a 15 week backlog. Assuming the backlog doesn't get longer (which it probably will), I can expect them to post out a reply on 24 January. Add a couple of weeks for post from UK to Thailand, and then I'm getting very close to the deadline.
If anyone else is thinking of making such contributions, I suggest you do it a.s.a.p., and do it online.
I filled out the form and sent an accompanying letter a month ago. I rang them up a few days ago and I was told it was lucky I called, because my form and letter were in the wrong queue. BTW its my 3rd letter...long story!!
I believe I am eligible for class 2 contributions. I owe 15 years. I was told on the phone that there is a 32 week wait. I said to her do you means 32 days?... she said no 32 weeks. Massive backlog now.
Its not a problem as long as the application is in before 5th April 2025.
Call at 08h00 UK time, it normally takes 15 to 20 minutes for them to answer. I have called approximately 8 times in total.
Hopefully I will get there in the end, I have time on my side.

Stitched up by his Thai partner and the police.
The confiscated drugs will be resold and the Thai will have new ''business partners''
Rinse and repeat!
I know somebody who attempted to go into a cannabis business with a Thai. He was ripped off before it even got off the ground. (Probably did him a favor).
