  1. Could anyone who has recently traveled from the UK through Singapore to get to Thailand, recommend a good company to take the RT-PCR test with please. The first company I just checked informed me that theirs 'may not' be satisfactory for Singapore. I'm not leaving the airport there, just have a couple of hours stopover. Thank you.
  2. AQ.in.th Excellent service, Thailand Pass approved within hours.
  3. Went through an agency in the end and now have the Thailand Pass.
  4. Thanks. Bit of confusion about the PCR test as well. It needs to be physically taken 48 hours before the transit, or the results given 48 hours before? Usually takes overnight to process the results.
  5. I'm in the UK, it's 6pm here, 1am in Thailand. I'm travelling after Dec 15, thought I'd be allowed to apply for the Thailand Pass an hour ago but no...it's still saying apply after Dec 1.
  6. Registering for Thailand Pass now. I fly from the UK but have a connecting flight through Singapore. It's asking which country I am departing from. Is it UK or Singapore please? Thank you.
  7. Luckily it isn't you who makes the rules. And getting a vaccine or not getting one, isn't the topic of conversation here.
  8. Has anyone entered the country recently without being vaccinated? I haven't had the vaccine and have been assured I'll be ok as long as I book ten day's quarantine (which I have). I know I cannot apply for the Thailand Pass until 1 Dec as I am flying after the 15th, but I keep hearing you must upload a vaccine certificate in the system...this may be a silly question but I'm assuming it won't ask for it if you're doing the ten days in a hotel? Has anyone done this recently and was it straightforward please? Thanks
  9. I've just applied through the Thai embassy in London and got approved the following day, for a Non-O visa. I wasn't asked to supply a round ticket but I bought one anyway to be on the safe side. I also plan to extend once there. Not sure whether or not you can buy an ongoing flight to another country though.
  10. Is that you keeping it simple? Suppose I'll keep you guessing..
  11. I've just taken out insurance with AXA and am now in the process of booking an ASQ hotel for 10 days. The insurance I have is good enough for the hotel as they wanted a copy of it upfront.
  12. My Non O visa has been approved. I have been given three months although the plan is to extend it prior to it expiring. I have a flight booked back to the UK (which I will not be using) one month after landing. So how long do I need to book the COVID insurance for please? One month? Three? Longer? Thank you
  13. Submitted my application yesterday morning and approved the following evening. Very impressed, as well as happy. Very much looking forward to getting home after a year away.
  14. Sorry don't know the answer to that. I didn't really want to buy a flight until my visa was approved, however I decided to play it safe and have paid for one just on case. Am now awaiting decision from the embassy.
  15. Ok thanks, I'll call my travel agency and the airline here.

  17. Thanks for bringing this to my attention, I've just checked and it is indeed 48 hours. In case I fall short of the timeline, what do you think the consequences will be? Maybe I'll have to take another test in Singapore at my own expense. Thank you again.
  18. I have a connecting flight from the UK to Bangkok via Singapore. Silly question again, when it's asking for my flight number do I put the UK to Singapore one or the Singapore to Bangkok one?
  19. Yes that is exactly correct. I also need to book a hotel and insurance beforehand I believe, which matches the criteria.
