I think u misinterpreted the 11.1 statement i think what they meant was that on nov 1 the pass can be used. not that its up and running on that date. the travel pass site says that we need to start the travel pass process a week before coming. well if i come on nov 1 . then that means oct 25 the travel pass will be opertional online

no the thais have commited now to reopen come hell or high water. the travel pass is all computerized? so it will work fast. thais want bodies in thailand spending money now. and are willing to sacrafice some dead covid patients for survival of high season. i could almost swear their are expats in thailand that like it like it is now and dont want things to open up cause they gonna see more foreigners around??

they want verification of where u can be found if you are positive. if you holed up in your private residence maybe they can t find you. i think the one night rule is totally acceptable. part of doing business. remember the previous deal was 7 days.

travel pass will allow only one overpriced pcr test not two. my consulate is hinting its coming out any day now

because some wont qualify to do bkk an one night and only qualify for the sandbox

but coe wont alllow for only 50000 insurance and coe wont allow only one night accommodation

so if i stay in bkk i can stay in a sha hotel or aq hotel . my choice?? where does someone get a list of those in bkk>??

i emailed my thai consulate in usa and they said to wait for the thailand pass to come. i think its coming in a matter of days

no . this makes sense . they are trying to simplify things. now i like the idea of test at airport. and makes sense u havve to stay one night in a hotel. they dont want you running off if they need to find you...........................i think the thais are finally on the right track

now that nov 1 rules have been confirmed. i thought the coe was gonna be eliminated and the travel pass developed . i could have sworn that was gonna happen like yesterday? the coe does not give option to take new rules on nov 1.

exactly!!!!! so now only option is to either do the 7 day sandbox or 7 day quarantine . until that coe is eliminated. im guessing tommorow this will happen and the new travel pass is issued. will the thais move fast now that they have decided? not sure i would want to be landing in thailand on nov 1 at 6 am ...chaos?

it was confirmed by royal gazette. now they need to get rid of coe and introduce travel pass . asap...........to reflect the new one night deal on nov 1 . instead of 7 night quarantine, also the new 50000 insurance not the 100000 insurance previously required. as of now the coe only offers 7 nights quarantine or 7 nights sandbox. and only 100000 insurance option. i suspect the new travel pass will be updated to reflect new rules in a day or two

im in process of coming to thailand now. my god the paperwork is endless. borderline abuse

i went to europe this summer all i had to do was get a swab test before going , and book a room thier and get vacced that was the extent of requirements. the thai requirements are endless.

im confused. better just stay home

the powers in thailand are getting pressure from tourism authorities to open up. thailand is willing to accept more covid numbers to open economy and partially save high season. didnt u ever watch the deer hunter and the russian roulette scene? time to open up come hell or high water. heck in usa we get tons of covid cases we are over it. either live in freedom or die in fear. open!

i was in process of coming early nov. but now i will wait. all they are doing is getting people to not come by all the changes as we wait now to see whats next. if u want people to come in be consistant. we dont want to end up in prison for a mistake because we didnt know the new rules this week

omg. that is a nightmare. what if you built a stereo system 4 times bigger and point back at them? or even better what i did in similar situation is i bought thier stereo system . u can always resell it in another area and then they will have the nightmare. is thier not a sound ordinance in thailand

considerable confusion? i am applying for a 60 day visa and question number ten on supporting documents wants a selfie pic of myself holding my passport? how does one get help. we are all confused.. can the thais please hire a foreigner to help them so we know how to do this process? nov is coming and still information that is not confirmed?
