  1. The affidavit would be in English I presume. Is this an issue as I recall the residence certificate from immigration is in Thai. For dl and vehicle registration.
  2. It goes something like this. Bank contacts contractor. Contractor gives bank a quote of 460,600 baht to repair the damage. Bank accepts and contractor begins immediately. Emergency repairs are generally inflated.
  3. They must be trying to get all countries on auto what’s the hold up though
  4. If I get rejected in the next few days will be more inclined to try everything lol. Gotta think when TP can’t keep up with the within 7 days promise they might have to just approve without verifiying and leave it to immigration officers to check upon entry.
  5. I pretty sure I’ve loaded everything right but no auto accept. If I can scan the QR and see everything why can’t TP? Just weird.
  6. So the Smart Health Card Verifier reads my Canadian QR from the proof of vaccination. Shows name, birthday, vaccinations. Does that mean I should be automatically approved and receive my TP QR almost instantaneously? Given submitting everything correctly, cropping QR etc. of course.
  7. I think so too. The approval is attached to your file. Once reregistering with a working email, the qr is automatically resent.
  8. I think the system sent the qr code out but it wasn’t received due to using hotmail. Reregistering with say gmail, qr code already approved and linked to passport number is resent. Definitely a theory lol
  9. Seems to me that for those that did not receive a confirmation email, the Thailand pass was already approved and sent out a qr code email which wasn’t received (just like the confirmation email). Upon reregistering with a different email the system resent the approval qr code automatically to the new email.
  10. Ipass policy excludes mv accidents if I understand correctly. #13 on this list of exclusions. Not sure about axa as I couldn’t find the policy.
  11. I think you are right as everything I have read up to this point says medical including covid minimum $50,000 usd is needed. The wording on the mfa site confused me.
  12. I am trying to purchase travel insurance that can provide the covid coverage letter. Allianz covers covid but doesn’t provide the letter. But looking at the mfa Thailand website, it states: https://www.mfa.go.th/en/content/thailand-pass-faqs 2. Does my insurance have to be a COVID-19 insurance in order to register with Thailand Pass? - No. You can also use general insurance or health insurance with a minimum coverage of 50,000 USD Have I missed something? I was under the impression the proof of insurance had to state covid coverage $50,000 usd min. Nowhere I can find says covid coverage is necessary. (I do want coverage for covid though) I don’t really want to buy a Thai policy as the exclusions are too much. And the coverage is too little. Looking at the fine print I read Tune excludes car and motorcycle accidents…
  13. I am looking at flights that arrive to Bkk 11:35pm or 12:05 am. Does anyone know yet if 1 night aq is sufficient? Will hotels add a 2 day option?
