Nice guy, i saw him a couple of times over Decades in Bangkok, Hua Hin and Pattaya, great guitar skills in his heydays.
Lam was even on Tour in Europe in 1982 as "Guitar King Of Thailand".
I hope he get well soon.

Since the begin of the Pandemic Sophon TV have lost many subscribers (many living here pay the amount hidden in the monthly Condo rent).
I guess this is the reason while many western channels are gone.

After years away from home country some people often forget the reasons they have left back then...

Had the double AZ, completed late last year. But no plans to get a booster of the m-RNA type. Actually had Covid in October last year, and have had worse flu, tbh.
Same as me two AZ in Bangkok, no plan for a booster.
My home country doesn't recommend to mix different types anyway.

A lot has changed during the pandemic, but the Kodak Express copy shop on the corner of Soi 6 and Jomtien Beach Road always used to sell it. The newspaper racks are outside the shop.
They don't have them anymore

Thailand did much better with the Pandemic than most countries since early 2020.
Thailand never had a strict lockdown.
I'm very glad to live here.

High Season is, as expected already over.
Less and less Tourists around since this week, (there were not many anyway), at least around Pattaya/Jomtien.
And the entry flip flop will goes on...

Seems like Jomtien has many noisy events... used to be loud music and pool parties often. Last week it was boy-racers doing donuts on some spare land near the View Talay 5 Condos.
Yes, many Thais like useless noise.
They don't like silence.
One of the reason Pattaya/Jomtien will never become a "World Class Holiday City" as they wish

Has anyone had experience with their condo board denying someone the right to isolate in their unit if covid-positive with mild or no symptoms? So far my condo in Bangkok hasn't issued any directives. Personally, I would be ok with one of my neighbors self-isolating for 5 days, and I hope they would do the same for me.

In my Condominium some of the staff got the virus in November.
One was sent to hospitel, all others 3 in Condo Quarantine (Room) for 14 days.

They make reckless noise from early morning until midnight.
I don't think in another "world-class" place this would be allowed.
Noise from and for a few clowns

To be fair, it depends from Condo to Condo (management).
Especially in Pattaya

As usual a circus for the naive folk- they occupy themselves and nothing else.
