    Not happening now, or immediate future.  Y'all need to read the not so fine print of the order;

    "The sale of alcohol is handiest approved in eating places, and handiest in the ones eating places which can be inside the Blue Zone and who’ve obviously displayed SHA certification for Covid-19 protection.

    However nightclubs, bars, pubs, karaoke, gents’s golf equipment and all different nightlife venues will nonetheless stay closed till additional understand."

    A few beer bars opened up today afternoon at 5.p.m. already.

    Bit strange, i know.

    I go for a look again right now.

    But I have heard of Jomtien immigration telling people it needs to be in the bank for 2 months and then would direct you to use agent to do the application. No sure if they are still playing that game.

    Then during the last 30 days of the 90 day stay from the visa you would apply for a one year extension of stay based upon retirement. The 800k baht will need to be in the bank for 2 months on the day you apply.

    agree, exactly what a friend of mine had to do a few month ago with Immigr. Pattaya (Jomtien). But he did the transfer very quick, so didn't need any agent.

    It will go on and on. It is best to buy supplies for 6 months and cover all window and door gaps with tape. Then wait 6 months in the sealed house and hope that there will be no new variant. Would be a viable solution for some. Others have to go out to earn the daily food for the family. That is the dilemma. Maybe the airports can be closed. But not the land borders when you think about the small border traffic with all neighboring countries. All the lockdown activities have so far failed. Maybe a little delay in the next wave. But we can't get rid of the virus, just like the runny nose.

    Yes, i know what you mean.
