    In over 20 years of living here I have never visited Phuket nor do I have any plans to visit. People bitch on about Pattaya but this revolting taxi scams seal it for me.

    Evening, After submitting my application for extension (marriage), my under consideration is for the 9th feb. My original O visa entry expires 4th Feb. 90 day report due 11th April.     Yes I ask about the alcohol ban as the only places who do not sell alcohol are supermarkets. Bars and restaurants everywhere openly sell alcohol all afternoon and always have.

    You copy and paste and miss the point. No one has ever stopped alcohol sales in the afternoons except supermarkets and over many years Pattaya has had so many close times the mind boggles. I was always under the impression that the ban was to stop kids buying alcohol on the way home from schools but with mom & pop stores that was irrelevant anyway.

    Zero bars or restaurants take any notice of the 2-5 ban. only 7-11 and supermarkets. It's just very selective enforcement as usual. Midnight was never a standard for 50 years. Pattaya's hours have changed so much nobody is really sure when you should close.

    Good morning, For my first extension marriage based, the fund need to season 60 days before application, not 90 day? When arriving on my O visa, must I wait 60 days before I can submit the application or sooner? Is there any link to required documentation? I looked at Chonburi immigration site and I'm sure they wanted more documents and pictures than what the website states. Thanks in advance.
