  1. And there is criticism of the Thai judicial system by some people and the dubious verdicts reached by strange financial resources or the lack thereof regarding those financial sources..

Might this indicate that the Thai judicial system is based upon the Alabama system, or that the Alabama system is based upon the Thai system,?whistling.gif

  2. Not sure if this the correct venue so to speak.sad.png

Is it possible we can we have some advise on how to hide that lurid nauseating puke inducing yellow banner concerning Thai Visa Flights from the top of the page. wai2.gif

Yes,yes, you may have guessed, I don't like it, dreadful colour and intrusive.bah.gif

  3. I can recall feeling the collar or two of coloured or black miscreats whatever you like who we caught when they were doing a blagging job or dealing.Always the same comment

'',It's because I'm a black man you nicked me''.

My reply was always, '' yes a crooked black man who was caught breaking the law, tough luck.

Never heard a Paddy or a Jock or the assorted Oriental and Europeans as well as a few ethnic minorities from the Americas too when we we nicked them start wailing away about their ethnic origin.

No matter what your ethnic origin may be if you're caught you're caught all because you were and are poor at your job not because of your ethnicity.

  4. There are a large number of estates in the Samut Prakarn area off of Thepperak Road and you will find a good big 200 sq m. unfurnished house to rent from around 6,000 baht a month up. If you visit the estates you'll see houses for rent and a visit to the estate office can be a wise move too regarding information as to what may be available for rent.

Good internet connection are no problem true and BBB and a level of security that is fine, as suggested it is a wise move to check out the area you like at varying times lf the day first-you will though if you make both the move and the integration find a very pleasnt life style if you are willing to adapt a bit.

School wise thee is a Sarasas School as well as the Singapore International School, St.Josephs Thepeark as well as St Josephs bang-Na a couple of decent government schools too there are also a couple of private Thai schools which seem to have a decent reputation

As an aside the are is very near to Foodland on Srinakarin road, Paradise and Seacon Square plus Imperial Samrong also Mega Bang-Na and well served by local Lotus Tesco and Big C. both supermarket and mini store sizes.Local markets are good too.

if you have your own transport good, the nearest bus service is on Srinakarin road Thepperak junction, pretty good service from there onward into BKK. The the Sky Train is available just a short way down from Samromg served by the greater majority of the local song tao's services which in the main are very efficient, taxi's are plentiful M/C or four wheels. Generally traffic flow in the area is good with minimal holdups.

We live in the area and we also have our farm and house in Surin that is total rural living, however coming from a farming family and still having farming interests in the U.K. as well as here country life is just as easy for me or I should say us as is living in surbubia

  5. We all have a sense of humor well most of us anyway.

My humour is sarcastic so perhaps that is or was beyond your ken.

Besides has it or did it occur to you that there are certainly members here who are not aware of the All fools day or April Fools day antics

  6. Hopefully the political immunity given due to old links via the N.A.P. and Thaksin are beginning to break.

Personally I hope and wish to see all these political links damaged if not actually destroyed irrespective of any political allegiance.

Get the cronyism out of the political, civil administration, police, financial concerns, education, military and business arena's etc, then this country will be able to move forward to the benefit of its peoples..

Mind you it will be some battle to fight, but it can and must be done.

  7. Just have look around a large Lotus Tesco they often have rolling pins in stock, that's where we got ours from. Or as suggested by our resident toperscheesy.gifcheesy.gif beer or wine bottles do the job without any problems, provided of course you have not consumed too much falling over juice from the rolling pins prior to their culinary usage.drunk.gif.pagespeed.ce.hfErN2aQEEfKmimwR

  8. Certainly BeefSlapper one has to conduct your own survey concerning the hospital in question much as one now has to do in the U.K.

Both the hospitals I mentioned have good admin teams and dedicated staff.

In truth if the front line staff are motivated the rest of the team will follow the example.
