Sviss Geez post # 6..
Maybe that photo was not taken yesterday? Maybe they were given bail? What's the significance of his mode of transport?
Given the actions of the accused one would expect a small look of guilt but no.it''s a cheery smile and ''I'm alright Jack.''
The car and a chauffeur?
Others had their car confiscated, no doubt this car is owned by a ''friend'' you know, a gardener or a housemaid who no doubt drove the accused to court out of the goodness of their heart and undying loyalty to their friend/employer.
I fail to see any merit in supporting the kind of low life person that the former rector is.
Still I suppose tacit support for that sort of person must comes from those with like minds.
One could hardly classify the ex rector nor his ' academic or business ''friends'' as fine upstanding members of the community could you?
Industrious? Yes.
Principled?
Somehow I find that a difficult concept to accept.
They are facing charges of conspiring to steal, conspiring to forge and use fake documents, conspiring to forge and use fake bills of exchange, aiding or conducting embezzlement, aiding or neglecting duty as state officials, and money laundering. -

kurtramsbottom post # 151.
I'm not in Thailand.
There is some doubt among many posters as to whether you are actually in the real world and even if you had ever been to let alone actually living in Thailand.

Many "Chippies" also sold alternatives to fish such as Sausage ( battered) , Faggots, Pies and Mushy Peas!
Not in the 1950's those innovations came in around the early to mid 1960's
In my young days we still had ration books.

Someone asked the other day, 'What was your favourite 'fast food' when you were growing up?'
'We didn’t have fast food when I was growing up,' I informed him.
'All the food was slow.'
'C'mon, seriously.. Where did you eat?'
'It was a place called 'home,'' I explained. !
'Mum cooked every day and when Dad got home from work, we sat down together at the dining room table, and if I didn't like what she put on my plate, I was allowed to sit there until I did like it.'
By this time, the lad was laughing so hard I was afraid he was going to suffer serious internal damage, so I didn't tell him the part about how I had to have permission to leave the table.
But here are some other things I would have told him about my childhood if I'd figured his system could have handled it:
Some parents NEVER owned their own house, wore jeans, set foot on a golf course, travelled out of the country or had a credit card.
My parents never drove me to school... I had a bicycle that weighed probably 50 pounds, and only had one speed (slow).
We didn't have a television in our house until I was 10.
It was, of course, black and white, and the station went off the air at 10 PM, after playing the national anthem and epilogue; it came back on the air at about 6 am. And there was usually a locally produced news and farm show on, featuring local people...
Pizzas were not delivered to our home... But milk was.
All newspapers were delivered by boys and all boys delivered newspapers --My brother delivered a newspaper, seven days a week. He had to get up at 6 every morning.
Film stars kissed with their mouths shut. At least, they did in the films. There were no movie ratings because all movies were responsibly produced for everyone to enjoy viewing, without profanity or violence or almost anything offensive.
If you grew up in a generation before there was fast food, you may want to share some of these memories with your children or grandchildren. Just don't blame me if they bust a gut laughing.
Growing up isn't what it used to be, is it?
MEMORIES from a friend:My Dad is cleaning out my grandmother's house (she died in December) and he brought me an old lemonade bottle.
In the bottle top was a stopper with a bunch of holes in it. I knew immediately what it was, but my daughter had no idea.
She thought they had tried to make it a salt shaker or something. I knew it as the bottle that sat on the end of the ironing board to 'sprinkle' clothes with because we didn't have steam irons. Man, I am old.
How many do you remember?
Headlight dip-switches on the floor of the car.
Ignition switches on the dashboard.
Trouser leg clips for bicycles without chain guards.
Soldering irons you heated on a gas burner.
Using hand signals for cars without turn indicators.
Older Than Dirt Quiz:
Count all the ones that you remember, not the ones you were told about. Ratings at the bottom.
1. Sweet cigarettes
2. Coffee shops with juke boxes
3. Home milk delivery in glass bottles-

One wonders why people like the Oregon Oracle who live here are so pro Netanyahu and his fascist policies?
Might I suggest that all of you Netanyuhu fans emigrate to Israel,
That is of course if you are accepted there and can and will integrate into the very mixed privileged society of the self proclaimed (second time around but different country this time) chosen race of course.

Yes because "professional" police are trained to have a sad face 24/7.
What a ridiculous comment designed to detract from the fact that the Thai police seem to have to spend a lot of their time catching foreign criminals due to the unprofessional and incompetent farang police who seem unable to catch or hold on to them once caught.
Now they can't smile or laugh all day because that's what would make them professional. Amazing Thai Visa.
Yes because "professional" police are trained to have a sad face 24/7.However when one has had a good result, a positive nick, delight is normal and evident
What a ridiculous comment designed to detract from the fact that the Thai police seem to have to spend a lot of their time trying to catch criminal Thais due to the unprofessional and incompetent Thai police and immigration dept police etc who seem unable to be actually willing or able to catch or hold on to those Thai criminals political and financial etc once they are caught.
Now they can smile or laugh all day because that's what they do on their way to the bank, criminals and police alike, Amazing Thailand..

I would think it must be the biggest collection of ''zimmer frame parade's one is ever likely to see.
What an opportunity the hunters of the criminal of W,W,2 have, their quarry can't run fast or far.
Then once that lot are in the net a start can be made on those war criminals who have been active since say ''1945.''
Sad to say . ''That is wishful thinking.''

in Thailand News

In a just released press statement Mr. Humpty Dumpty urged all egg producers to scramble and to get cracking and egg their families on in an attempt to forestall the falling off of the wall of egg prices that may well cause damage that cannot be repaired to the position of the egg producers . and Mr. Humpty Dumpty,
Mr.Humpty Dunpty also exhorted his fellow layers of members from the top to the bottom level,'' to be strong my fellows and do not lay down on the job and chicken out.'' ,
The army is we are told standing by to attempt to repair any shell damage that may occur..
