  1. I use the free version of Radarbot. Can download from Google Play. There's a free and a paid version. Seems to work well in Thailand as it shows me quite a few speed and red light checks along the road.
  2. Totally agree. I'm having exactly the same thoughts. I live here 34 years. I remember the blue sky and dry seasons with no rain at all. This year the rainy season started early May and is still ongoing. We were lucky to spend 3 months in summer traveling through several Mediterranean countries. The weather is awful since we returned late August. 2 weeks ago we were in Khao Lak. I believe it was raining every day. Coming back to Europe the weather there was also crazy. It was hotter in the north than in the Mediterranean countries. We encountered a couple of days heavy rain in southern Italy while north Italy was going through one of their worst draughts. Climate change seems to be around everywhere.
  3. The thing with the tattoo is absolute nonsense. It may apply to certain areas you frequent or circles you mix with. But tattoos in today's world have also become fashion statements and you see them among middle aged women in Bangkok. That said, mother is 83 and got herself a tattoo around 10 years ago and she's definitely not a bad girl.
  4. How you book your flight is irrelevant. What counts is following. You must leave and re-enter Thailand with your Thai passport. That means you only show your Thai passport to immigration. Airline staff are concerned about your UK visa. You can easily show them both passports. They can't be bothered about dual citizenship. Immigration on the other hand gives a hoot whether or not you have a visa for the country of your destination. Upon entering and leaving the UK it's exactly the same but reverse. Only show immigration the UK passport. And you may show again both passports to the airline staff. Above is subject that you have in both passports identical names.
  5. I used to have all the time lower back pain. I went to see a chiropractor in Bangkok. He fixed my problem in 2 to 3 sessions. He told me that lower back pain more often than not is due to lack of stomach mussels. He told me to exercise my stomach mussels if my back pain comes back. Done stomach exercises like sit ups since then and never ever had any serious issues with lower back pain.
