  1. My Dec. 29th application is still stuck so I emailed [email protected] providing summary details requested and attaching my PCR testing receipt plus my hotel 7 days payment receipt. I have a second application submitted a couple days ago with a bit more polished docs. That one is still pending. I looked like it might be hard to make applications within 7 days of the start of the hotel booking, not sure. Days before that were grayed out in the date picker.
  2. When the thailand pass first started, for some reason hotmail/outlook spam filters were blocking messages from the service. They never even made it to your junk folder. Most other email services seemed ok, where gmail is a sure thing and free. You should get an email acknowledgement as soon as you complete submission of the Thailand pass. The web app will also now give you a code you can use to check status of your application, but I think you still need your email working to receive the thailand pass. On youtube, "riding with Gaby" has a good video tutorial using the website at the end of December.
  3. Apiwan2, did you use the agent mentioned in another thread here? AQ.*.* I reached out to their email and they said they could help with existing applications and I started going thru their website flow and stopped when it asked for my passport. I emailed them again explaining I would be happy to pay to expedite my existing application without handing over my passport photo...and crickets. I'll be reapplying myself and then emailing the phuket gmail if that doesn't turnaround in a day.
  4. I saw a suggestion that you may be able to quickly get a Thailand pass issued if you apply for the alternative quarantine option using a different email address. It's risky, but the idea is when you arrive in Phuket you try to sort it out with the staff there. I would recommend bringing printed documentation showing when you applied for the sandbox. Also when you arrive in Phuket check to see if somehow your sandbox pass was issued while you were traveling. You can see more AQ information on the thailand pass website at the step where you choose sandbox or alternative quarantine. They still show the Test and Go with a disabled button.
  5. I saw the existing thread and wanted to focus in on whether ANYONE has received a Phuket sandbox thailand pass newly issued this month, January 2022? If yes, please let me know when you applied and when you received your pass. Many thanks. I applied early December 30th Thailand time, still waiting. Received a nice ack email with a code to check status and a help line email address of unknown usefulness. I'm a proud recipient of a Thailand pass on Nov. 7, the day before my departure. Was hoping to have less stress this time...I guess ASQ is my backup plan. I recycled a lot of my nice images from that time. The website is improved, but there seemed to be no option to say "hey you checked my vax status already". FWIW I got boosted since, but did not want to complicate things.
  6. I received mine about the same time (5pm friday), I am just waking up to go to my $250USD covid test. They sent only to my most recent gmail application (two days ago) as a PDF attachment, no duplicates to other email addresses. I arrive Nov. 8, departing in 36 hours. Details: USA passport and vaccinations (2 pfizer) Shaba ID used for my booking ID. Thanks whoever suggested. Yeah I had a COE application in progress that was rejected with reason: use the Thailand Pass I did have vaccine QR codes using the SmartHealth standard available with much difficulty in my red state. I need that code for my Singapore airlines flight. That was my stress a month ago. When I originally planned my trip I was on Cathay Pacific leaving today (flight canceled) and the opening up was supposed to be in October. I figured give them over a month to iron out the issues ???? I did clean up my passport image as much as possible in the application that got approved. The USA passport is a notoriously difficult image to automatically scan. This was the only application where I put the shaba id in the booking field. My guess is they did some kind of bulk approval based on the arrival date, but hard to know. My approval came at about the same time as Richard's. I fly in Phuket and for the hotel image I put together an image of my covid test receipt thru the phuket psas system with my hotel's shaba document from my old COE application. I originally prepaid for 14 nights and will need to sort that out with the hotel when I arrive for 1 night. Hopefully flying to Bangkok nov. 9 History: I applied as soon as the website launched using my hotmail email address and quickly converting everything to images. Probably one of the very first applications in there. You know how that went. Second application using an icloud email address 3AM Bangkok time on Tuesday using the CORS workaround. Third application using a yahoo email address mid Weds Bangkok time when some folks were getting QR codes immediately. Looks like those were only folks with European QR codes. Winning forth application 10AM Thurs Bangkok time. Changes: cleaned up passport image, used gmail account, used shaba id for booking rather than the reservation system id. Now praying I pass my covid tests.
  7. Well I guess to no one's surprise, there is not a big pool of english speaking folks available to help via a consular phone line. The phone number seemed legit and I sat in a queue for 13 minutes and then was told by a computer voice that no agents were available and the call dropped. It became increasingly difficult/impossible to connect to the number via a skype voice call. Sometimes it would miss my digit press to select an english speaking agent and continue on in thai language. My best guess is anyone with some english skills is trying to help with the manual processing of applications. I am going to sit tight until Saturday evening Thai time and then pull the trigger on the ASQ application in the hours before I head to the airport if I have no thailand pass by then. Hope it works if I need it. Thanks again to folks here who found that workaround.
  8. On facebook there is a discussion thread around a thailand support number for the consular office. (I talked to my local consulate LA/usa and they could not help). It was mentioned that folks on the support number will try to help if you depart in the next day or two, which is now my case. Has anyone tried calling? +6625728442 one person on the thread said not helpful, another said they were able receive a TP QR code. I may call when it opens Thailand day and if that doesn't work, try AQ. Thanks all for those tips. If I may gently suggest, the root of the problem is not duplicate submissions IMHO...so let's not point fingers at each other here. Dups are easily resolved with a freshman CS student's database script. I'm pretty sure the contractors sold the government on a fully automated system, and it looks like it works for the EU where the contractors are from. Staffing is/was not in place to manually pick up the pieces for the rest of the world. With this theory, it's going to get worse over time until they program in every vaccine record quirk worldwide, as some folks have noted. Hope we all soon get a nice Thai massage to heal all the stress.
  9. I was able to talk to a person in the LA consulate tonight. He said they couldn't help with the Thailand pass and wouldn't give me a contact. They did seem aware of the hotmail issue, which is what I used with my first application. I guess I will call them one more time tomorrow night before likely canceling my trip Friday end of Bangkok work day. I had a COE in progress, but it was rejected pointing me to the Thailand pass. I'm supposed to fly Sat night, but I think I'll bail out before my $250USD covid test Friday AM USA time. I applied first thing when the website went live with my hotmail account. Reapplied before the Nov 2 Bangkok work day and got the email confirmation. I reached out to a couple agents in Bangkok end of last month, but none were comfortable with my existing date starting Nov 6. If anyone has an agent for hire with TP connections, it would be much appreciated. My sense is, they are buried in applications requiring manual processing and didn't staff up for what was supposed to be automagic. Ah well, I guess Lalisa won't be there either.
  10. for folks keeping score, I tried reapplying an hour ago and did not get an instant approval. One guess I have is that USA passports have a lot of anti-forgery stuff that make auto verification hard. When I applied for a tourist visa (>30 days), the app had trouble reading my passport. I used a much better photo this time. I also cleaned up various other images as best I can. I have USA vaccines and a smart health QR code based on standards that I needed for transiting thru Singapore. One other note, in the USA RT-PCR tests with fast turnaround are about 3x the cost in Thailand. You really want your Thailand pass in place at the time you do your covid test, which is a problem for folks like me who were bounced out of the COE program and sent to the Thailand pass with little runway
  11. It does look like the CORS issues have been resolved, so the extension is no longer needed. There are some public posts on youtube etc showing what the screens should look like as well as videos showing how to work thru the website
  12. Anyone USA based&vaccinated been approved? If so, when did you apply and when approved?
  13. I agree, I was worried that I did not receive an email and reapplied (with a different email and passport number space) and got the email. I have a guess that they might be processing the applications using an email workflow where an email also gets sent to a processing agent account
  14. While some folks seem to get responses approved or not very quickly, just wanted to call out 7 working days is probably more like 9 days, maybe more depending on holidays.
  15. I resubmitted a minute ago using a different email address and appending a space to my passport number. This time (about 21:55 GMT) I both had success and immediately received an email acknowledgement. I did use the workaround with chrome browser and the CORS extension...many thanks to folks who mentioned that. I also put together an image for my hotel and covid testing at the phuket airport, making one image. A good trick I didn't think of when I was rushing thru the first time. Thanks again to folks who suggested that one.
