  1. If you booked an AQ hotel with everything included then select Alternative Quarantine. If it was an SHA+ hotel where you had to pay for transfer and test as extras then select SHA+
  2. UPDATE: Received my Exemption From Quarantine (Test & Go) Thailand Pass just over an hour ago. The approved application is the last one I submitted on November 4th from a different email address to the first two. Nothing back from previous applications on November 1st & 3rd. The successful application used an NHS vaccination certificate that did not include my passport number or middle name. My hotel confirmation was from Agoda for a 1 day AQ and the Agoda confirmation stated that airport transfer and testing were included. My insurance document attached was a confirmation of cover from HSBC for a policy included with my bank account so no validity dates and cover stated in GBP referencing COVID cover. My friend that I’m travelling with received her approval within 5 minutes of mine although her applications weren’t done at exactly the same time which would suggest that they are processing in arrival date order. Our flights are on 13th, arriving on 14th. I sent an email to consular support yesterday with no response but my friend did not email them and our approvals arrived at the same time, so in my case the email nudge had no effect at all. I also tried the phone line yesterday but gave up after 20 minutes on hold. I hope this helps those of you that are still waiting and gives you hope that they seem to be meeting the 7 working day target. The AQ workaround wasn’t for me as I’m clearly Mr Sensible and not entitled to an opinion. ????. Good luck to everyone and thanks to everyone on this forum for sharing experiences and keeping me sane during the very stressful waiting period.
  3. Thanks - hopefully accounts from people that have used the AQ workaround for Thailand Pass will start to be posted next week also.
  4. I’m concerned about relying on information that you don’t appear to be able to substantiate with an official source. As per my previous posts my flights are flexible and if necessary I will change my dates as a preferable alternative to either being denied boarding and losing the cost of my flights or being compelled by Thai immigration to undertake 10 days quarantine during a 14 day holiday because I have made a false declaration on my Thailand Pass application.
  5. Could you provide a link to an official source for that advice please as my current reluctance is due to the AQ workaround feeling a little bit like entry by deception which would concern me when having to explain to an immigration officer.
  6. It depends on people’s circumstances. I deliberately booked with an airline that allows changes if amended in advance but I doubt if that would apply if I turn up for the original flight and am denied boarding for not having the correct documents. Also I’m planning on taking a domestic flight after I’m released from Test & Go and having an AQ QR code could also cause problems with boarding that flight. In my situation for a 2 week holiday, I’m prepared to take the risk of testing positive (although am doing everything in my own control to avoid infection) but am not willing to risk turning up to the airport with the wrong documentation for an AQ entry and possibly losing the full cost of my flights.
  7. What date’s your flight and which country is your vaccine certificate from as I’ve still received no response from the support email re my flight on the 13th November? ????
  8. I’m hoping that the support phone line or email would consider issues like this but maybe I’m being naive.
  9. That’s crazy - just checked my NHS certificate and no middle name either so would appear it’s standard for it not to be included. This must be an error on the Thais’ part - maybe email them and tell them that UK vaccination certificates don’t include middle names? If I’m going to be rejected for that reason also I hope they hurry up and do it so I can at least argue my case…
  10. Thanks - glad you’ve been successful and can now look forward to your trip. My Agoda AQ booking confirmation shows the transport and test included so hopefully they’ll accept that. Hoping that the proof of cover letter for my HSBC bank account travel insurance will be accepted as it mentions £10m cover for COVID but no dates as it is ongoing cover.. If I haven’t heard back from them by tomorrow morning maybe I need to try submitting yet another application as if I’m rejected I’m running out of time to fix any issues and resubmit…
  11. Hasn’t worked for me - I emailed them nearly 5 hours ago and still nothing. Applications submitted 1st & 3rd November, UK NHS vaccination, Test & Go with AQ hotel on Agoda confirmation. Hoping to fly on 13th November…
  12. Which email address did you email support from? Could it be that they only looked at the application that used the same email address as the one you were emailing from?
  13. I think the OP meant for a Test & Go application, not by using the AQ application workaround. I’m concerned that if I get a QR code stating AQ rather than Test & Go then I won’t be allowed to board a domestic flight after my 1 day AQ package in Bangkok. It would seem that Thailand Pass only currently has the encryption key for EU vaccine certs integrated for automatic approval and that no applications using UK NHS QR codes are being approved automatically for Test & Go.
