I am contemplating my next move. I will either apply for a covid extension or a 90 day Non O (Retirement). Will visit Immigration next month & update accordingly.

Maybe a good idea to open up a WISE account on line too - Easy to transfer money from there into your Thai bank account & also good to show up as a FTT transfer proving that the money came from abroad.

Bad advice !!! KP does not have an airport so cannot fly there - Can fly to Samui & take the ferry - And if travelling via this route, why not just apply at Samui Immigration ?? Also - Had a report on here a few weeks ago of problems with KP Immigration issuing Covid Extensions.

Time for all the shenanigans to end - Open the country up properly along with all the borders & lets get back to life as normal as possible - One RT-PCR test 72 hours before travelling should be the only requirement for travel.

You are correct about the TM86 but also need to fill out the TM7 along with a photo & all relevant copies of passport page, TM6 & stamps in your passport all signed.

The prices vary, depending on which hotel you choose to stay at. They arranged everything for me - 14 nights in a hotel - 3 Covid tests - Airport pickup - 30 days Covid insurance - Applied for my COE then emailed me all the required documents to print out. It would be much cheaper now. They saved me a lot of time & took all the pressure off me. I would highly recommend their services.

Have a look at the "Royal Vacation" website - They are based in Bangkok - I used them in September & would highly Recommend their services - They took care of everything for me & emailed me all the documents that was required for entry into Thailand - Reach out to them via email.

May i recommend opening up a "WISE" account prior to your travels - This would make it easier to transfer money from the UK into your Thai bank account (When you eventually get one).

I stayed here for a month back in 2017 - My friend owns the house & i have decided to stay here until at least April. Cycle over to Klong Muang - its very quite over here & there are quite a few guest houses to rent nearby the restaurants.

Going on your own mathematics, it could be argued that the Covid Extenders are in fact more valuable to the Thai Immigration, & in turn, the Thai economy as a whole. Maybe they will decide to keep these Covid Extenders & make it easier for them to stay in the Kingdom

I never heard about this "Legal Agent" before - I always assumed an Agent was an Agent ? Where does one find such an upstanding member of the community here in Thailand ?
