  1. Wow, those Cigna reviews make you indeed question whether to go with them. I had Cigna through my company before and have had excellent service in China, Hong Kong and Sweden. Just show the card upon arrival in hospital and sign the bill in the end. Never had to deal with any of the billing.
  2. I will let you know soon. Ordered a WT in middle of July and coming somewhere in September.
  3. Hello there, First off you will need a driver license and an international driving license. You should only rent from a company that has a business insurance in place for the cars; insured for damage, accidents, third party liability. Often owners of cars rent out cars that have only first class insurance. That is personal and only protects the owner. Business insurance, only a handful companies have that in place: the international ones and in Phuket I know of a company called RentACar. Best of luck and safe travels.
  4. Hi there, in August planning to relocate permanently to Thailand. At that time will be 45 and jobless. How would you go about the next 5 year visa wise. When 50 can get the retirement visa. Before that what shall I do? My wife turning 50 in about a year, (non-Thai), can I lift on her retirement visa? Our wish is to acclimatize somewhere first for 3 months, open bank account, get driving license and buy a car. Than permanently move to perhaps another city for a few years. Looking forward hearing your advise. Many thanks, Lars
  5. Seems that STV is no longer allowed to apply. Only those that had before 30 Sept 2021 can extend it.
