Makro have reduced the prices of a lot of their albeit limited range of wines some in the order of 15 % or more the wholesale outlet i buy from has absolutely no information about a price reduction, and knowing about Makro's reductions, can only suggest they have done it off their own bat and it seems that all the other retail outlets are the usual price one hopes it might flow thru...

Car Registration Renewal for a Foreigner Living Here
33 RPM replied to 33 RPM's topic in Thailand Motor Discussion
The only problem is the online app. Installed it on the phone, registered and then was required to goto another app - digital ID (ThaiID) to complete the login. This app requires a photo of the Thai ID card. I do have a pink ID card. The app will not accept the photo and constantly states there is an error. My original question asked, whether anyone else has encountered this problem. Various sites such as Expat Den and Motorist Thailand suggest it can be done via the app. As for the car tax renewal, I will take all your advice and goto the local roadworthy shop and save myself the drive to DLT. -

Indeed, but i think they are closed now Furthermore Open Government Partnership Thailand For those who dislike traveling and prefer not to leave their homes, but their vehicle taxes are about to expire, the pathway to convenience is right here. You don't need to go to the Department of Land Transport (DLT) to renew your car and motorcycle taxes. You can easily renew them anywhere through the e-Service system and the DLT Vehicle TAX application. Just a quick note: make sure to check your vehicle's usage period. Types of vehicles that can renew taxes online: Cars, pickup trucks, and vans with a usage period not exceeding 7 years. Motorcycles with a usage period not exceeding 5 years. Before entering the system, don't forget to prepare the necessary documents: Original vehicle registration handbook or a copy. Proof of insurance as per the Motor Vehicle Act. Owner's original national ID card. Certification of vehicle inspection from a private vehicle inspection center (if applicable). For additional online tax payment steps, you can visit the DLT e-Service system at: https://eservice.dlt.go.th/ You can download the DLT Vehicle TAX application from: Android: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.kiosktaxapp&hl=en&gl=US&pli=1 iOS: https://apps.apple.com/us/app/dlt-vehicle-tax/id1493386636 -

Experiences, Recommendation, brands to avoid , i have a 6 Rai plot that requires constant mowing and upkeep Id be most appreciative of any ones thoughts , experiences with a " better quality " Ride on Mower Brands etc. Thank You

Is there any store in Chiang Mai selling such things - Yamaha . Thanks.
-
Well happily enough , i have " relocated " almost all of them to another body of water nothing killed, no toxic chemicals, just a tadpole free pond...
-
Forgot to mention, there are No Fish, No Pets just rocks, pebbles, pumps and bubblers
-
I have 2 long ponds on the other side of 2 terraces, some 3 - 4 meters from the house Apart from the incessant almost daily cleaning of the freeking termites , after some nice, but very welcome rain the 2 ponds now have " A lot " of little tadpoles that will in turn become bigger and apart from being rather gross things , they are certainly snake attracting . Is there anything i can put in the pond water that will eliminate / terminate the tadpoles. and maybe deter Mama from returning Thanks.
