  1. Just like the former Elite is a PE (privilege entry visa), and you get a PE written in your arrival stamp - what type is DTV? Or what will the stamp say? Or is DTV its own visa type?
  2. Does anyone know of a good border bounce company in BKK that they could recommend?
  3. Can the visa border run services "guarantee" that there won't be any problem due to many stamps in the past? Also, just to make sure - you get 60 days at the land borders now, right?
  4. Of course Thai Elite is obsolete now. Sure, "peace of mind", yada yada yada... The fact is that DTV is way cheaper, and benefits and peace of mind are not that different. TPC really needs to exempt all current and future members from tax, just as the LTR does. Otherwise, they will have to close down that shiny office in Sathorn. Giving people more golf discounts and buy one burger, get one free burger at MOS will just not cut it.
  5. I have read somewhere that you can do "unlimited" visa exemption entries now after the new rules started. Have there been any reports of people getting denied at the airports in Bangkok (or land borders) with an extensive visa history after the new rules started? What are the recommendations for people with many old tourist visas and visa exemptions?
  6. So I guess there will be some redundancies over at Thai Privilege Card in Sathorn soon... Why would anyone pay 900k for a 5y visa, when they can pay 10k?
  7. So people will really get 180 upon each entry during 5 years? Why get anything else than a DTV now?
  8. And what land border is recommended to come back to Thailand through?
  9. From Bangkok. But I don't mind flying to another country and then entering through the land border back. I would ideally do it within 2-3 weeks.
  10. Can anyone recommend a good Thai language school (with ED visa) near Silom/Sathorn/Chong Nonsi/Surasak/Bangrak (or nearby), that does not require classes everyday?
  11. Is it possible to apply for an ED visa (Thai language course) and get it approved when staying in Thailand on a visa exemption? Or do I need to be on a tourist visa?
  12. Which city/border is the easiest to do a Tourist Visa visa through if I have a history of long stay (TR, exemptions + covid extensions)? I am looking for a visa run where they likely won't deny me entry or the TR itself. A plus would be if the consulate/embassy would issue the visa quite fast. I have never done a land border visa run before, only through air. Thanks!
  13. If I entered on a visa exemption - how soon after entry can I do a 30-day exemption in Chaeng Watthana? Also, will I get 30 days on top of my current 30 days regardless of when I extend, or will they only add 30 days from the day of visiting in the immigration? Thanks!
  14. I entered Thailand in a couple of months ago on a visa exemption. I extended that visa exemption by 30 days. After that, I flew out to Pnom Penh where I got a 60-day tourist visa. I extended the TR for 30 days. I would like to go to Phnom Penh again and come back and stay as long as possible (60-90 days). Is it better that I apply for a tourist visa in Phom Penh or try to enter Thailand again on a visa exemption? Is there a problem to do 2 tourist visas back to back, in general? Or should I mix it up with a visa exemption? I will fly in and out of Bangkok.
