5 year multiple entry DTV visa (Destination Thailand) from 2024-xx-xx
I have heard that If you stay in Thailand for more than 180 days in a year, it seems that they are planning to change the law to impose taxes on the amount of money earned outside of Thailand, even if you do not send it to Thailand. https://www.infoquest.co.th/2024/427464 If I register my employment or business with DTV, won’t it be problem later?

Do you need 1. Bank balance certificate and 2. Transaction detail ? Are they official documents from bank with a stamp? Also, what kind of documents did you prepare to show a workation? I also went there but failed.

It might have been better to bring a balance certificate stamped by the bank. I don't know what they were showing on their smartphones because I didn't see the screen. It seemed like a lot of people were coming to Vientiane to obtain the DTV, judging by the way the receptionist spoke. At least I saw someone paying 10,000 baht in front of me.

I couldn’t hear well and didn’t know what was going on, but the guy who paid 10,000 baht and successfully obtained the DTV was showing something on his smartphone screen to the staff. I also saw a few others showing their smartphone screens to the staff. I don’t know what they were showing.

I won’t know the exact reason unless I ask that person. 1. He said to bring an official balance certificate from the bank. 2. He also said to bring a transaction statement from the bank. I was rejected when I printed out a web statement and brought it in. Also, I only brought a single printed page of the webApp I created as a portfolio. That might have been a problem too?

I need some advice. I'm currently in Vientiane and will be going to the embassy tomorrow. I'm still undecided whether to obtain a Non O visa as usual or try to get the uncertain DTV. If I apply for the Non O visa tomorrow I can receive it on Tuesday for sure and go back to Thailand on that day. However, if I try for the DTV tomorrow, I cant get non-o visa on Tuesday. Moreover if I end up not getting DTV I'll go for the Non O visa, but that means I won't receive non-o until the end of next week.

I think digital nomad option might be complicated because of the taxes, What are some soft power options can be quickly used? I'm going to the embassy in Vientiane tomorrow, so I don't have much time I'm also thinking of giving up on it this time and going with a non-O visa instead.

Tomorrow I go to Vientiane and try to get DTV, I’m an app developer, what kind of document do I need…? I'm not sure what is needed to prove that I'm an engineer. Should I print out the URL and screenshots of the web app? This is a completely startup project, I'm not working for a company, and the app hasn't generated any profit yet.

Get Non-O visa 3month at Savannakhet
I am not married, and I have a child in Thailand. I have his birth certificate. I plan to get a single-entry visa for 3months in Savannakhet. 1. Is a bank balance certificate required in Savannakhet? 2. I have been obtaining visas and living in Thailand for the past two years. Can I still do a visa run? It would be easier if I could get a 60-day visa at the border. my passport has full of visa seal and stamp from thai

TM30 problem for extends 90days Non o visa for 60days
In Udonthani immigration, To extend my non-O visa for 90 days, I have been told that I need a TM30 form. I’m currently living in a condominium, but the room owner hasn't submitted the TM30. The local immigration office staff lady has been difficult to deal with, making the process challenging. I even booked a nearby hotel and brought the contract as proof, but it wasn't accepted. Everytime the whole process takes about an hour of arguing before I finally get the extension. Is there a solution to this issue? I've heard that the TM30 form is not required in Bangkok.
