But you didn't realise that 5G and 4G are wireless cellular technologies, and that 3BB doesn't offer any of those?

Neither does AIS, I have checked my own router. Having said that 5G for most people unless you are downloading huge files or playing games on the internet is not going to give you very much. Yes it is faster but for most things you are talking a couple of seconds faster which is nothing to get upset about. If you really want to get the facility to handle 5G then some thing like NetGear would be a good choice but they are very expensive. For most commonly used internet facilities 5G will not give any significant saving. Only, as I said if you are downloading massive files or playing high end online games.

  2. Thailand should no go Nuclear. The technology is great but does Thailand have 1. the knowledge, 2. people who are capable of running a nuclear plant and 3. maintenance workers who can provide the required support?

I would say no to all of the above. If they want to bring in foreigners to build, operate and instruct Thais then yes but I would doubt if Thailand would want to be dependant on foreign workers.

this gives me a chance to ask: my tenant is using the 3BB 4 G package. the modem is about 5 years old (it came free from 3BB). he wants to sign up for the 5G package, called Super Hi Speed: download speed is 2,000 GB and upload speed remains at 1,000 GB. cost 1399 + VAT. my question is, do i need to upgrade the modem? the 3BB service centre says 'no worries' , but my tenant is going to be doing musical studio work which will be uploaded and downloaded. any advice, ? thanks.

Do you know what standard it conforms to? If it accepts 802.11ax standard then it will be happy with 5G

Where to get a Influenza vaccine in Bangkok ? Is it at any of the major hospitals or have to be at a private clinic ?

I would think you could get it at hospitals or clinics. The medical profession likes nothing more than taking your money.

I have used Wise for 14 years here in Thailand . I have recommended them to many others . Always give 10/10 on their customer satisfaction surveys . However over the last 3 days they have , on one occasion , not made my transfer after 24 hours , so I cancelled and made a fresh transfer for slightly less money . When filling out the transfer form they said you money should arrive in seconds but no it did not .  Got an email from them saying they had received my money from my bank and that was it . So I tracked the transfer and it told me it would pay out at a given time which was 6 hours after the initial transfer . Normally I get the money in 1 minute and can access from an ATM straight away . I am used to the instant transfer but this latest event means some forward planning ahead to get funds transferred . Anyone else having the same experience as me ?

I have noticed the excessive delay in them making transfers. They spend a fortune on computer networking and they still take almost a day to make a simple transfer, plus they have increased their charges. WISE needs to get Wise.

They were taken/robbed when they stopped for a 'honey pot' - Dopey, Bashful and Doc are still at the Police pleading their case, and the others have disappeared.  Snowy is looking after me right now, and then I will be Happy (again).

Contact your landlord and see what he/she says.

In the worst case scenario, nowadays microwaves are inexpensive and good quality, it might be worth your time to invest in one if you're denied.

But keep the broken one so when they leave they can leave everything in the same condition they found it.

   I didn't say you did need to know

I am aware of that and didnt mean it in any way to be offensive. At the end of the day the storage capacity is defined by how long recordings are to be made. If you go away for a week then you dont want recording to stop or over write after 3 days.

Most cameras can record 8 days on a 128GB card (mine certainly does).

I use the LLSee 380pro as you can use the full recording without paying a yearly subscription.

It also tracks the person moving in shot, and allows 2 way comms.

Has to be linked to a smartphone to view, also sends snapshots of 'alerts' to your phone.

Lots of the other software require a paid subscription, which they fail to mention in the ads.

EZVIZ mentioned by others appears to need a paid subscription to operate.

If the recording is constantly running and with a minimum of 30fps then you would be doing good to get 8 days worth of video. but if a couple of days is adequate for the needs then yes that is fine.
