It doesn't really matter what they are. They are ILLEGAL and that should be enough to kick them out.

2 years may be there policy but if it is not stated in your contract of employment then I wouldn't think it counts for anything. Was that period actually in the contract you signed? Even if it was with a stated notice period it wouldn't matter at least I wouldn't think it would.

In countries that are seeing an increase in tourism the tourist authority should take a close look at what they are doing. Maybe then they will see what is causing the downturn for Thailand. It wont just be a single factor, it will be a combination of several things. TAT needs to look at all the factors and see how they can at least equal them or better them. Sitting and complaining that tourism is decreasing without looking at the reason why is ridiculous. Look at what attracts and promote similar. Look at what is harming the tourism in Thailand and scrap it or at least radically modify it. Thailand has all the tools to make it the greatest destination on earth but no use having the tools if you don't use them.

What is happening there that requires the use of safety helmets? If these are genuinely needed then tourists should not be allowed to enter.

I agree. Sometimes the straight truth is as boring as it gets. As long as they tell you it is based fact that is fine. Then you understand some parts will be made up to make the book a good read.

If Thailand allowed for that 4 letter word "Competition" things would change dramatically and quickly. It would be good for the Thai people as they would see how competition works and the increase in tourists would still give them a decent living.

I live in BKK. Even if the road is totally free of vehicles the extra couple of seconds in acceleration is nothing. I doubt if anyone here in BKK or elsewhere live their lives to the minute

I would agree a few seconds can make a big difference but on these roads I think more than a few seconds is prudent.

I think the big thing to come out of the vaccines was the reports to the SEC. In them it was clear that the vaccines had not been properly tested and any vaccine normally would be. With that in mind who is going to act as a lab rat again?
