I'm an American of German extraction, with contact with U.S. culture (13 years married to an American), UK culture (26 years married to a Brit), and Thai culture (15 years married to a Thai). I worked in the education business in Saudi Arabia for 29 years, as well as for shorter periods in Iran and Greece. I've also lived and worked in Germany and the UK. I'm fluent in American English and British English.

I retired at the end of 2016 and moved to Nonthaburi in January 2017. I am currently working in the editing field, in which I have extensive academic and corporate experience. I do online editing work on academic papers of all kinds, mostly for non-native speaking customers. I have completed nearly 5 years working freelance with a US-based firm.
