What is the time limit for a divorced thai lady to remarry,, i have been told once she is divorced in Thailand she has to wait a certain amount of time before remarrying in the Amphur

My friend (USA) arrived in B, and what Thai consul does he have to go to , to did this and what documents does he need to take angkok and was issued with a 30 day entry stamp, he has just got married( thai culture non registered type) and is going to get married (registered at Amphur) before his 30 days is up , how can he get a 1 year multiple entry O visa and what Thai consul does he have to go to do this also what documents does he need to take with him

I had the same problem last night , my contact was definetly on line available because we where speaking to each other , but he showed as off line on my msn so we could not use the web Cam, i have checked same contact today and now it is ok , must have been a blip in the msn system yesterday!

I have high blood pressure and on the last visit to my Doc for a check up and more medicine i asked him if it would be beneficial for me to buy a personal monitor from boots and check my blood pressure every day , he replied in the negative saying these machines can not be calibrated and are not always accurate , he also said that i would probably get paranoia everytime it showed an increase when in fact it might be normal , it is best to visit him for a check every fortnight if i am concerned , but the medicine i take regulary keeps my blood pressure down , so i will take his advice and not buy one

What matters now it the present and the future , the past is history , get out now with your child while you have your sanity and your life , some people are unfortunate to be born the way your wife is and may not be able to change

I am being taxed on my UK Pension and a small private pension i get, not only do the government not link my pension to the rise in the cost of living because i live in Thailand ,they also tax me on it , i do not have a residence in UK and my yearly tax statement shows my Thailand address , if i lived in Spain or elsewhere i would receive the link to my pension yearly , are other TV members from UK who receive a UK Pension being taxed or am i missing out on some allowance i dont know about

Thonas My advice would be to E Mail them. If only to get conformation that they have received Your application.

And Do keep sending them E Mails. I was told when I made telephone calls that they were very busy Until 10 months later They told me they had not received the application.

So do keep your sent mails and any reply you get. I am still in the process of sorting mine out They owe me 18 months back pay for my wife @ £57 per week.

Now I have to go to Tribunal on 14th may I do have evidence. Thank the lord But who knows.

They do require you to send your wife's Original birth Certificate as well as your marriage Cert.

after a 7 month application process, i have now been awarded additional allowance on my UK Pension for my wife and it was back dated with arrears paid to my pension start date which was 3/3/08 , the increase is worth 52.36 pounds a week .

If you apply and your wife already has a UK National Insurance number it will be quick, if like me she lives in Thailand and doesnt work and has never had a national insurance number , phone the international pensions centre 008441912187777 and ask for application form, allowance for wife , when you send it in make sure you send in the following , marriage cert, wifes birth cert, and if wife has been divorced her divorce papers , they will translate and start the process for issuing a NIN , send them EMS as it is quicker, registered and you can track it on line at Thai post, if you hear nothing after 6 weeks give them a call or send email , remeber when it arrives at pensions office it takes a further 2 weeks before it is in the hands of the person who will deal with it , badger them with emails and phone calls and it will quicken the process , it did in my case .

I am going through a very bad patch (10) years of RLS in both legs, as soon i i lay down in bed at 11pm it starts , i have to get up as i cabt lay down i am then walking around down stairs until about 6/7am , i then end up sleepimg in the day time which is not good as it makes me unsociable and a pain to live with

has anyone had the same problems and got any tips to share with me, i do know it is not curable but i have hears it can be arrested, would be gratefull for any feed back

Has anybody had any experience of this hospital , i had a fully replaced hip in UK in 1999 , my Doctor recomends i go to this hospital to have it checked out and may be cleaned up as they dont normally have a life expectancy of 8 to 9 years , he recomends this hospital as it is where all the surgeons get there training for othopaedics and the doctors who train them are the most experienced in this type of surgery

I would just like someone to share there experience of what happens when you have an accident, i was driving a car doing a U turn and a motorcycle with a rider and pillion passenger slammed into me , luckily they where walking wounded and only needed patching up at the hospital , i have 1st class insurance and there rep came to the scene of the accident and took pictures etc and told me not to worry , the police turned up about 1/2 hour later and also took pictures , it was then arranged to take my car to the police station where i am told it could stay for a week or so waiting for some government dept to check it out . i also had to go to the police station and answer questions about the accident , the police then told me to come back in one week and attend with the other parties (Students) where there would be confrontation with the other party and more questions , they have kept my Thai driving licence , i have been told i may have to pay some type of ex gratia payment asked for by the other party even though i think they where in the wrong and not me , and even though i have 1st class insurance which should pay for everything , if they where in the wrong shouldnt there insurance have to pay (Presuming they have insurance and tax) can someone please share with me if they had the same routine as i am having to go through to put my mind at ease ,( i can see them at home with there family conjuring up what to ask from the farang ) I am ok with accepting thai culture and living by it but sometimes i dont understand there logic , i have been driving here accident free for 9 years now so i suppose i have been lucky up to now

after doing a speed test the results are 1162 kbps download and 430kbps upload, my package is with true via a modem , my package is download 3mbps upload 512kbps , i am trying to watch downloaded movies and u tube and can not watch properly because i get a lot of buffering , can anybody recomend what package i should upgrade to , will a package of either 4mbps / or 5mbps or 8mbps do it , if so what package would you go for ,

I havent used a microwave since leaving UK a long time ago , i have just bought a micro as i fancied some meat pies and cornish pasties which i have just bought from a supplier in the North East, can anyone give me details about the best way to cook these , do i cook from frozen or do i defrost first , can someone also advise on buying and using a slow cooker , i have suddenly got the urge for good old english food!

I didnt see a pool and they didnt advertise one in their brochure, it looks more like a hotel than a resort , it has 4 floors in one main building so i would say it was a hotel

There is a new hotel/Resort, : the Newngon Sang Thai Resort: just opened , it is 25km from Udon Thani on the main Udon to Nong Khai Road , the wife and i stayed there 2 nights ago whilst doing a Visa run Nong Khai to Laos, rooms are very good have a decent bed, hot/cold shower , TV and fridge and Wireless (Free) cost for 1 night 490B for the room , they also have a cafe and mini Mart and plenty of parking ,phone numbers 042 2066355 or 042 2066352 Website will be up and running soon,

My wife had the same problem so we went to the Local Amphur where her birth was registered and they gave her a letter confirming all the details of her birth and confirmation, i sent this to International pensions and they accepted it ok

I have just arrived home after driving aout 500km over the last 2 days , i went through 3 road blocks where there where a lot of police but they werent stopping anybody ,that i could see of, also i saw numerous police blocks in most villages and Amphurs that they set up every New year and Song Kran manned by police and civiliansb but they just sit at their tables drinking coffee etc ,not once have i seen one of them go to the side of the road to check the traffic! this drive took me to Khon Kaen , Loei , Udon , Why are they there or what are they there for?
