  1. Not sure what you mean by "like Amazon" specifically, but we are as close as you can get: Prikpot.com ????
  2. Not sure what you mean, but yes it is decarboxylated (decarbed). Which of course is the way to process it when you want to use it as a tea, unless you know a better way?
  3. I can assure you that it is safe to buy from us. ???? Our Dip Trip is very popular among our customers who don't want to smoke, and it can be used in two different ways, but I recommend you use it as a tea.
  4. Not from the universities or labs, it is still too expensive and time consuming to do on all crops. We did it on some crops in the beginning, but we learnt that very few actually ask for it. But we plan to offer it in-house in a not too distant future.
  5. Those are averages from the growers. As you probably know, the actual THC-value can differ depending on what part of the plant you measure. We plan to add even more interesting test results in the near future that will be able to certify that the flowers are 100% organic and free from pesticides.
  6. With all due respect, but I am afraid you don't understand the mechanics of business, such as supply and demand. Our prices initially had nothing to do with greed, they were mainly based on prices given to us by the growers when we launched in June last year. As you should know, there were no established legal growers prior to June last year when it was legalized. So obviously there was scarcity on the market. Also, most growers at the time were growing indoors (most of ours still do), which adds to the overall costs (electricity, equipment, nutrients, soil etc). Comparing prices with countries where weed has been grown and sold for many years, both legally and illegally, is not relevant. But today the average price in Amsterdam is €7-€20 per gram. In the US it was $10-$20 per gram last year, which is pretty much identical to current local prices. In the US prices have now dropped to $5 per gram in some States, but a lot of it comes from unregulated production facilities though. Our prices at Prikpot.com has dropped in accordance with supply, improved production and increased volume. This has allowed us to lower the prices with between 20-75% depending on the flower. This in only 6 months, and our quality is very consistent and still organic (no synthetic PGRs or pesticides). I think it is safe to say that our flowers are a lot safer than the average vegetable you buy at the fresh market. Yes, there is an oversupply on the market, and that was expected. But the market is still in its infancy and the quality varies a lot, as well as the practices used to grow. This will improve with time. The market has also seen an abundance of imported buds, mainly from the US and Canada. Once again, those are unregulated and a lot of it, not all, comes from questionable growers and practices. But that has now come to an end, thankfully. We only dealt with local growers from day one, and always will. You also have to understand that the unregulated "black" market in Thailand will shrink moving forward, and only licensed and serious players will be able to sell it legally. Being licensed involves taxes, administration and other overheads that obviously affects prices in the end. But not to worry, there will always be good products at good prices in the future. In some areas of Thailand, prices are a lot higher than others. And there are reasons for that, but thats not something that can or should be discussed here. We have secured thousands of regular customers all over Thailand. Even though cannabis in general is a price driven product, our customers also appreciate the consistent quality and service they get from us. Just as any other product or service, you get what you pay for, and there are segments for all types of consumers. I am happy if you've found yours. To sum it up. I think we should all be happy that we live in a country with the most liberal cannabis legislation in the world. The market has exploded and there are options for everyone, and it will only grow from here. So I don't see any reasons to complain, at all. “You can’t complain when you’ve got Mary Jane.”
  7. Last year when everything started there was not enough supply of quality buds around, thus driving the prices up quite high. Which is normal, but since then we have secured a team of quality artisan growers that allows us to lower the prices down to very attractive levels without lowering the quality, and the whole supply chain is fully licensed and legal.
  8. We do not host products from these vendors as most of them are not licensed, but we do have competitive prices and high quality products, especially if you check out our promotion page. We also run exclusive deals frequently on our Line channel, which you can find at the bottom of our page.
  9. Chili Charlotte is mid-grade greenhouse grown (not top shelf), but one of our best selling products. Customers love it despite its "appearance". 11. If you are looking for a balance between top quality and great price, check out our Chili Charlotte at only 199 baht per gram. Read our reviews and find out why this is our top seller: https://go.prikpot.com/chilicharlotte This is grown organically in a greenhouse by an FDA-approved grower. 12. Just a little note that we have made improvements to the production process of Dip Trip, something that allowed us to reduce the price by 50%. The new price is only 1,495 baht for 24 pouches. That calculates to a mere 62 baht per "trip". ???? Check it out here: https://go.prikpot.com/aseannowdiptrip As always, free shipping all over Thailand with same-day dispatch.
  13. Hello @toast1 We sell fully legal CBD oil with no THC. Prices also include free delivery throughout Thailand. Click on link below for details. Learn more here.
  14. @rellim We do wholesale and we got a new organically grown strain with very high CBD-levels. See here. We can also find other strains with even lower THC. Just send us an email on [email protected] and we will give you our wholesale prices based on quantity.
  15. I did not mean to insult you, I simply said that it is impossible to know what type of strain you remember. However, we do have a product guarantee and if you are not happy, we will arrange for a replacement. Please send an email to [email protected] and we will take care of that. If it is not as you expected, we will of course rectify that.
  16. Thank you for your input. I don't think the "thai sticks" you bought in California would have any resemblance to our Vintage Thai, simply because it is not grown in the same environment, and it is most probably not based on the same genetics. Also, personal memories are quite subjective and hard to mimic. ???? As for our Dip Trip, this is an experiment in creating a new product, mainly aimed at those who wish to consume cannabis without smoking it. We know the price is a little too high at the moment, but we work on pushing down the production costs. But so far, we have had great reviews and we will continue to develop this product in different varieties (strains) and prices. Thailand is still in the early stages of all this and we are doing our best to innovate and come up with new products, some will work, some will not. We do however appreciate relevant feedback from our customers so we can adjust and improve, if needed.
  17. Sorry, notifications were not coming through, so did not get these messages. We are not the grower, but according to the grower the flowers have been cured in jars. I do think specifics about growing techniques is better in a suitable forum.
  18. I meant some, not all. It was in reply to a poster that remember them as "chocolatey". I was not around at the time, but I have heard they did exist from people that were around at the time.
  19. Please email us on [email protected] and we will work something out. Not sure what Thai strain you are referring to, but if something was wrong we will compensate for that. We always do.
  20. Thanks for sharing your story. It is similar to many others we have spoken to. I also heard that most of the Thai Sticks at the time were actually made in Laos and shipped to Thailand. Instead of trying to describe something using words, send us an email on [email protected] and I will send you a sample of Vintage Thai, I would love to hear your opinion since you obviously been around.
  21. There are tons of low quality "brick weed" sold everywhere, and not surprisingly there is a surplus of that on the Thai market at the moment. This is not the same, even though they might originate from the same strain. If you smoke the same strain for a long time, you will usually develop a tolerance and need more to in order to feel the effect.
  22. As mentioned above, its not the "Thai Sticks" as in the rolled cigar shaped sticks. This the strain named Thai, that were used (mostly) to make Thai Sticks. Some of (edited) the original Thai Sticks were also dipped in opium, something we obviously don't do. Maybe thats why you refer to "chocolatey". ???? We do however plan to offer traditional Thai Sticks soon (minus the opium).
  23. Ok, let me clarify too. I did not say you are wrong or that you don't know what you are talking about, I said there are many experts in this field. Just as with beer, wine, politics etc. My point was that everyone has en opinion, and that is fine. But we are not to judge who is right or wrong, we base our conclusions and results on the experts we deal with. In this case, we are very happy with both. If you disagree, fine. But since this particular subject should be discussed between growers, I suggested an alternative forum for that.
  24. We've never seen so many experts as in this business, so we'll just leave it to that. This would probably be a discussion better suited in a forum for growers. ????
  25. Hello, Not sure where you got that information from. Ask any grower and they will agree that the longer you cure it the better. The recommended minimum is usually 3-4 weeks, and many growers cut corners in order to get their products out the door faster. In the case of our Vintage Thai, we are convinced the extended curing is one of the keys to its quality.
