Temptation is everywhere in Thailand, from the countless bars that open their doors at 8am, to the lovely young girl dressed in a short skirt that grabs you by the arm as you walk down the street, it’s all around us. yet many seem to resist such things, or live so far in the boonies that they never come across it. when one lives in or frequents a tourist ghetto then it is very easy to slip into a life of alcoholism, drug abuse and casual sex. I am a victim of such vices, I find it extremely hard if not impossible to resist the temptations that come along with living life as an expat in Thailand. god help me. bob.

Sadly I find that many locals are only friendly when you are buying something from them. when the money dries up, so does the smile. bob.

I would NEVER kick another human for no reason EVER. I would, however, tell them in their local language to get the eff off my property if they ever happened to be on it without permission. bob.

I move in all echelons of society. Last night I was wining and dining with the rich, tonight I will be mixing it with the backpackers somewhere. Unlike you I don’t discriminate people based on their supposed wealth. I take people at face value. Most Thais I have met have been sub par to say the least. bob.
