I like this thread. A lot. It's very refreshing to see so many farangs finally waking up to the truth about life here. it isn't all it's cracked up to be and it's much better for you in the long run to remove the rose tinted specs so you can see the wood for the trees. Any other approach than that is pure self delusion and/or denial. bob.

A fantastic post, well done Chris for speaking your mind! Thailand is anything but the land of smiles. It is the land of fake smiles, should really be called Lieland. Everything here is superficial, especially encounters between locals and foriegners. There is nothing genuine here and everything is for sale. Honesty and integrity is completely alien to most Thais, sadly. bob.

so this is where all the regulars are tonight! my 2 cents.. Thai men really look down on Thai women that are married to or are in a relationship with a foriegner. They are jealous beyond belief and know that we are better endowed and are pleasuring these native women with our 'bigness' daily. They can but dream of being able to make love like we farangs do!
