    Not every city has an airport I used to go by train, because no airport close to where I lived yes it took me about 17 hours but by overnight sleeper train, great fun, even took my Thai family along but long time ago. As you know it was different those days now you can do all that online. I do come back to Thailand twice a year on a visa on arrival, so no more boarder runs for me

    Thanks for your replay, but to correct you I don't need to pay any rent and I have my own place; I will live in Ratchaburi. No cars no nothing, yes electricity and food but I am only worried about health Insurance if I can get that at my age

    Well, You Yanks call them cell phone and the Germans call them handy, so what was Thailand before Mobile phone? How did people communicate? Leave a note on the door when nobody was home? I am talking about no internet .Not many people had phones those days. So what did they do? I am very curious.

    I just compared some health insurance for Ex-Pats in Thailand at my age, 76 by the time I move, I think I give it a miss. I be better off coming to Thailand ones or twice a year which I can afford. Here I still have my health covered for free being a pensioner, any hospitalisation is free. Well, I might be needing help in a few years when I get a bit older, which I won't get in Thailand.

    Let me ask a question do tourists need a TM30 report as well? I will be in Thailand again next month staying in a private place for about 2 weeks, then 1 week in Pattaya hotel and then after that 1 night in BKK. I guess all the hotels know what to do but in the private place they would not have a clue.

    I don't get it taking urine samples, what happen if you can't go, will you be arrested? Where I live, we just have a little gadget which you rub over your tongue, and it will tell you if you have taken any drugs.

    I went to Pats a few months ago nobody on the plane wore a mask just Thais at the airport but no farangs I haven't worn a mask for over a year
