thanks node .. me holiday thailand , then l return UK.. she with guy in India now.. so cannot attend amphur together at this time .. no proof of my paying for house build apart from large transfers via western union etc

thanks for mixed comment guys ; as was said l should just divorce but emotional aspects , self pity , not wanting to help etc present . 7yrs invested + giving money ; no children , £8k visas ,£10k to building her a home , 2.5 yrs in UK with me before changes in her & all take led to her return to thai l live UK so not sure if l do or don't divorce affects me .. agent said marriage not registered at BrEmbassy/block her Probably wants divorce to get another visa to return to other guys country [ so yea did think about him contributing ! ; & yea good luck to him !! )

thanks... l think traditionally couples were required to divorce at the same amphur where they registered their marriage but now can get the uncontested divorce in an amphur different from where the marriage is registered.

thai wife came to England on a spouse visa , it was not extended , she returned to thai then went to another country to stay with another guy , l went to see her in the village , but she was playing away , has now returned & wants a divorce ! l live UK altho now on holiday in thai. what if l ignore her request ?

hello l find the forum difficult to navigate , not sure what section to be on re :- l am british in UK with thai partner on 5yr visa route 2.5yrs in it needed extending for a further 2.5yrs but her change in the UK was a nightmare & not extended . She is now in thailand l suspect with another money man . She asks for a divorce . Do we both have to agree to this & what section of the forum should l be on for such support .Thanks Haza

thanks l am british in UK with thai partner on 5yr visa route being nearly 2.5yrs in it will need extending for a further 2.5yrs but l dont want to do this as l want to her to return to thailand , but l havent told her & avoid associated hassle; . Its not enjoyable , altho l dont let on . l am being used as a route to get a british passport . Fortunately l dont meet the criteria for the visa . But unfortunately l suspect she's going for a work visa thro her employer. so i dont know where that leaves me as i probably cant stop a work visa

is this the correct forum or can anyone signpost me to the correct field for discussing my thai partner with me in the UK on a leave to enter visa
