Agreed in principle but in relation to animal cruelty I'd like to believe this wouldn't happen so frequently in the west. Cruelty to animals is found widespread in Asia and Thailand are at the top of the list when it comes to mistreating both animals and fellow humans. Agreed about humans however. The world would be a better place if nature was allowed to take its natural course instead of killing for the sake of sport, tourism and often simply without reason. But wait...we do protest against killing serial paedoes, rapists and murders don't we? Destroy animals as we see fit but protect filth like those.

Agreed wholeheartedly in regards to how it's ruined Thailand. The people that have ruined it however are the natives. Their way if life was very quickly swapped for the opportunity to get rich quick from tourism. They continue to build and overdevelop and they have no regard for nature or tradition. I don't really take note of where the tourists come from. To me, the worst invaders by far are actually the Bangkokians when they travel anywhere.

I wonder where they ate it. I've had some lovely krapow but equally some awful versions. I associate it with a meal I eat when I can't decide what else I want. Tastes great but ask yourself, if you're at a buffet and have international food or Panang, Tom Yum, and other Thai food on offer and sitting there is kaprow...would you bother with it? Far better countries to visit for quality tourists. You were blessed with this country you were born into yet you've cut the goose open far too many times and rather than stitch it back up you find blame in everybody but yourselves. Didn't some foreign reporter have an accident on the pavement or trip over something in Jomtien recently? Sounds very Thai. How to fix the pavements so people don't keep tripping up or falling down manholes? Improve the walking spaces? Nahhh Build great, big eyesores to show them where the holes are!

Facemasks should be worn at all times in Thailand, especially whilst driving. If you are riding a motorbike, put the mask on, but don't worry about a helmet or driving recklessly. Just avoid breathing in a virus rather than smashing your head to pieces. Same goes for car drivers. Mask up inside the car, even if driving alone. The threat of COVID coming through the outside air, into the car and into your mouth is very real....driving recklessly is once again not dangerous however. Wearing a face mask whilst driving like a lunatic will prevent the spread of COVID. With such a bunch of Muppets to pick from, scaremongering reports such as these are not necessary.

Bang on. Until they face up to their downfalls and stop blaming it on visas they'll continue to fall. I'd personally love to see the amount of people choosing to live or retire here drop then they might start treating those that help the economy going all year round with more respect.

This video might increase German tourist numbers because...shock oh shock ...people from all over the globe come to Thailand specifically for this. They always have and always will. Add to that, this type of tourism ploughs far more into the local economy than the visa free Chinese. Like it or not natives, this age-old profession goes on everywhere. TAT will look at visa free travel to attract tourists. Take a look at the state of the country, tidy it up and you've got something worth promoting. Decades of insisting on teaching dull, pointless grammar rules and avoiding conversation because the teachers aren't up to making the lesson interesting. The entire Thai education system is rubbish. If Thai teachers show initiative or promise they're quickly thumbed down to comply with the talentless millions that uphold this useless system. I wouldn't want to learn either. The reason workers in the tourist industry can speak English, yet have no education is because they practise every day. No grammar bibles there. Thailand have been employing foreigners for years to teach languages yet haven't bothered to up their game to replace this need. What kid gains inspiration from such an obviously useless system?

I get what you're saying 100pc. It isn't representative of the Chinese people, who are on the whole decent, hardworking folk.
