Over the years i have gorged myself on free food from the Thais. Weddings, funerals, parties, school doos, monks donations that they couldnt eat all of etc But never at a restaurant I wasnt a regular at. I will give it a try tomorrow. Dress up in my worst clothes and wont bother showering.

One of the great things about living here is that there is no need to learn the language Yep, like I said, typical Pattaya Brit who has lived here for decades and still can not string a Thai sentence together. Similar to being a illiterate deaf mute. But as long as you are happy, ignorance is bliss. Just get your rented girl to translate for you, they usually know a bit of English.
