Has all the hallmarks of a drug/gang related feud, either he has ripped someone off, owes money, or has intruded on another gangs turf, the new breed of young " tourists " are quickly establishing drug ( cocaine in particular ) networks around Pattaya, iv seen dealing happening first hand in and around the main tourist strip, this type of thing is not unusual in parts of Europe, however it is unusual here, although it is becoming more frequent, a sign of things to come i suspect...

Really? Have you read the news in Britain over the last 5-10 years ?, it seems to be the youth of Britains favourite pastime, knife crime in the UK is out of control, and now the braindead younger generation are swarming over Thailand like lice, you can expect them to import their love of drugs,knives and violence along with it.

Sounds just like Thailand to be honest, although the Thai government tries to hide it behind a veil of " democracy "

Im in Vietnam now for the first time, a lot cheaper than Thailand, Just as nice, reminds of Thailand 20+ years ago before it was invaded by morons and drunken idiots, this place could be the future, i will be certainly coming back

Splitting hairs, legalised/decriminalised same same but different as they say in Thailand, regardless of its legal status the fact remains that there are weed shops everywhere in all the tourist areas of Thailand,selling weed at very low prices compared to many European countries which has attracted criminal drug gangs from across the world, its no coincidence that the explosion in availability of other street drugs ( cocaine in particular) has been particulary prevalent since the decriminilisation of cannabis, or is it just a coincidence?

Its been going on ever since they legalised it ( well done thailand) , with lax security and high profits to be made the only way to stop this trade is to start hitting these people with double figure prison sentences, not fines, they have opened pandoras box, its about time it was closed

The thing is that up until recently a lot of them did get away with it, and probably still are, a few headlines that they have caught certain people is great, but how many did they not catch?

As i mentioned in a previous post, this is the tip of iceberg, its been going on since they first legalised it, and the only way to stop or slow its progress is to start hitting them with heavy sentences, no one with a brain is going to risk 10 years in a Thai jail for couple of grand

Tip of the iceberg, the price of it here makes it financially viable to try and smuggle it back into Europe, gangs are just paying people to transport it, if they get caught they get relatively light sentences anyway, one of the reasons Thailand has gone to s**t since they legalised it, it has just attracted criminal elements to the country , well done Thailand

Deportation and a lifetime ban from Thailand would soon sort that problem out
