  1. Clearly he understands how tariffs works. But he does not care about consumers who pay double for Chinese EVs. He cares about raising billions in revenue and making Chinese EVs handicapped in the US market.
  2. Lol, it's irrelevant. Trump did not cause the epidemic. He had no agency in "passing it on" to the Biden administration. Kamala did not say his handling made it worse. She said he gave us the worst epidemic.
  3. Nonsense? Well, let's see what Britain and France promised: "In the event of any action which clearly threatened Polish independence, and which the Polish Government accordingly considered it vital to resist with their national forces, His Majesty's Government would feel themselves bound at once to lend the Polish Government all support in their power." https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anglo-Polish_alliance#British_assurance_to_Poland And did, Britain valiantly rush to the aid of Poland like a White Knight, and do all in her power to support Polish resistance? No. Rather Britain settled for the famous "Phoney War" and did very little. Then they gallopped off to Norway, failed there. Joined the fight in France, failed there. Then Greece, Another failure. Yugoslavia. Another failure. North Africa, first failure then success....But Poland? Go through this military history of Britain in WWII. You will search in vain for the liberation of Poland. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_history_of_the_United_Kingdom_during_World_War_II The Navy, oh yes, it had such a powerful Navy, so it could have transported its 700,000 men to Poland no?
  4. No, actually, it's not a fact. Because Trump had no agency in "passing" on any epidemic, it was there, regardless of Trump. Peak or not Trump had no agency in leaving any pandemic for the Biden administration. She could have said he made the mortality figures worse. But she didn't. She literally said "he gave us the worst epidemic in a century".
  5. What a brilliant idea. If I hadn't seen the debate I'd say he's a genius.
  6. Yes, and not just that, he created a whole pandemic which he maliciously passed on to the Biden administration. This was carefully fact checked by ABC....oh wait.. "Donald Trump left us the worst public health epidemic in a century." https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/harris-trump-presidential-debate-transcript/story?id=113560542
  7. It is, she is saying Trump left her administration the epidemic. "Donald Trump left us the worst public health epidemic in a century." https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/harris-trump-presidential-debate-transcript/story?id=113560542 Trump gave us the worst epidemic in a century. Except, he didn't of course.
  8. States cannot be trusted on principle. After all Britain and France had guaranteed Poland. Did they go and fight to liberate Poland? Not really. It would be Russia that liberates Poland. After incorporating Poland Germany should have stopped the war. But of course there was this fear of an invasion by Russia. Russia was the big hope of Britian too, why she would not give up, though she had no real means to fight. As already pointed out Churchill called for a coalition to oppose Germany as early as 1938.
  9. No, Russia played a pivotal role. Britain, at best, played an ancillary role. And a very minor one.
  10. I know what she meant. But she didn't say what she meant. By saying "Donald Trump left us the worst public health epidemic in a century." https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/harris-trump-presidential-debate-transcript/story?id=113560542 It's clear she's not talking about Trump dealing with the epidemic. Here she is simply saying Trump left us, ie gave us, the worst epidemic in a century. Of course he did not. He did not leave, pass, give, gift, donate, hand, throw, or kick over any epidemic. He was not the cause of it, it was never his to pass on. I know what she meant, by pure logical deduction, because what she says is not what she could possibly have meant. She does not talk about "dealing" with the pandemic.
  11. I do agree it is a strange policy for a Republican. Just as it is strange for the Democrats not to care about the Deplorables and the poor voters they once supported. It's almost as if political parties are morphing before our very eyes, the same in Europe btw. On tariffs I think Trump actually believes the simple deterrent of making, say Chinese EV cars, twice as expensive, will raise milions for America and reduce the sale of these cars. I do think he detests illegal immigration, since he's always had a bit of a dislike for coloured people, but obviously he does know it's a crowd pleaser. Even Kamala Harris is now Immigration Wyatt Earp.
  12. She actually follows a script word for word. When the ABC moderators did ask her why she reversed her position on fracking (for votes) she replied: "My values have not changed". Lol. The same words she said in that first kindergarten interview with Papa Walz.
  13. But Kamala Harris did not say "he didn't deal effectively with the pandemic and left us with a bigger pandemic than it might have been". She said: "Donald Trump left us the worst public health epidemic in a century." https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/harris-trump-presidential-debate-transcript/story?id=113560542 Very clearly she is trying to put blame on Trump for the epidemic, and she's also saying that he passed on the epidemic to her administration. But the epidemic wasn't his doing. The fact she had to deal with it was because whoever actually caused it unleashed it. It certainly wasn't Trump.
  14. Lol, you're trying really hard, but she did not say Trump left her a wreck. She said he left her an epidemic. An epidemic is not a car with scratches. It's not like a box of chocolates either.
  15. I quite agree. Trump has equally adopted Abortion and IVF policies purely to gain votes, even though he was never an abortion fanatic, it's clear votes are colouring his policies on Abortion and IVF. Where Trump has deeply felt genuine policies is on immiigration and tariffs. He truly is a nationalist.
  16. Exactly. But Harris did not say "Trump handled the epidemic badly and left us with greater mortality numbers than were necessary". She said: "Donald Trump left us the worst public health epidemic in a century." https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/harris-trump-presidential-debate-transcript/story?id=113560542 So Trump is responsible for the epidemic itself, and for passing it on to the Biden administration. There are two possibilities here: 1) Kamala Harris is not able to use the English language correctly or 2) She's a liar She is clearly trying to make Trump responsible for the epidemic itself, and for passing it on, not for the handling.
  17. Trump did not leave the Biden administration an epidemic. Since very obviously Trump had no responsibility for the epidemic ocurring, logically he cannot be held responsible for the epidemic. It is completely untrue.
  18. No, you are wrong, alas, marin. Kamala Harris did not say Trump left America an epidemic. And if she had said that she would of course equally be lying. What Kamala Harris actually said was: "Donald Trump left us the worst public health epidemic in a century." https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/harris-trump-presidential-debate-transcript/story?id=113560542 She was not talking about "America", she was talking about her administration. That was the subject of the exchange. And to say that Donald Trump left any administration an epidemic is a lie. Trump is not responsible for the pandemic.
  19. Yes, Kamala stating Donald Trump left her the pandemic was so obviously untrue nobody takes it seriously. The lie is ludicrous, or her misuse of the words so stupid, that people just don't take it serious. But she did say it. Look: "Donald Trump left us the worst public health epidemic in a century." https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/harris-trump-presidential-debate-transcript/story?id=113560542
  20. Only because the lie is so obvious. Or the cognitive faux pas so obvious. But she said Trump left her the pandemic. Which is ludicrous either way.
  21. Excuse me? You have issue with the interpretation? It's crystal clear, she's saying Trump left her the pandemic.
  22. No. Her own words, she did not say "state" she did not say "response", she literally said: "Donald Trump left us the worst public health epidemic in a century." https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/harris-trump-presidential-debate-transcript/story?id=113560542 Trump left her the pandemic. She's lying.
  23. He was highly intelligent. He was also a supporter of using mustard gas, bombing women and children and the elderly, and starving millions of Indians.
