  1. Hi there, Not sure this is the right place to post this but I just had a look on the Hua Hin dedicated forum and it looks pretty serious. I don't wanna ruin everything with a post on bars there so I'm posting here. Mods know best so up to them. Anyway. I went to the soi 80 bar area and was pretty disappointed. Super pushy girls when it comes to drinks there: it's really annoying coz it really makes you feel like they don't give a flyin' one about their customers. I might have gotten unlucky but that street doesn't feel very convivial to me. Anyway. Where do you go for your beers in Hua Hin ? Any specific bar you like ?
  2. Does your Thai mobile internet still work when you go to Vientiane or Savannakhet ?
  3. A map that I found online. Might help. The black line is the one going to the market. https://www.google.com/maps/d/embed?mid=1fzgbx6a8_22tK1cMLiBFR2LW4q9RImCE&ll=12.929858138354646%2C100.88794960594466&z=14 If you wanna go there from beach road, you'll have to take the Pattaya-Jomtien line and stop at the Thappraya-Thepprasit junction then take the "black line" to the market from there.
  4. Last time I went there, they asked me for: TM7 Form the two passport copies you mentioned (ID+stamp) 1900THB I told the officer I also had my Agoda booking printed out just in case so she had a quick look at it. But I felt like she didn't really care to be honest... No TM30 required for my 30 days tourist visa extension. Very good immigration office by the way. GL to you.
  5. Yesterday, I visited the Thepprasit night market (google map is your friend). I highly recommend it for those looking for cheap prices. It's huge and probably 2 or 3 times cheaper that what you'll find in the city center. A nice slice of pizza is 20thb, a good kebab starts 80thb, Mo ping is 10thb, spicy spaghetti with bacon or sausages just 50thb, etc... And it's very good. Much better than what I had at Tree Town or Wat Chai Mongkhon market. For those looking for clothes, many good deals as well (not as good as Lazada I suppose but this experience is different altogether). Many things are priced around 100-150thb. Had a very nice time there. Anyway, hope this helps.
  6. If you have the opportunity to get a tourist visa extension anywhere in Thailand but Pattaya, go for it. I don't know what going on in Pattaya right now but officers there are losing it. Usually you need to provide the following documents to get your extension: - TM7 form - copy of your passport main page - copy of your latest visa page - copy of your departure card (+ 1900 THB) In Pattaya, they gonna ask you to provide a TM30 form - which is some BS that your hotel manager has to fill in for you. So this is how it goes: - In the morning you have to go to the immigration office to get your TM30 form and your queue number for the afternoon. - Then you'll have till 1PM to go back to your hotel, find someone to fill in this TM30 form for you. - At 1PM you gotta be back at the immigration to queue for your TM30 form receipt. - Once you got your receipt you'll have to queue again for your tourist visa extension. The entire experience is from another world. I went there at 10am and finally got my extension at 4PM. In the meanwhile I've been yelled at by officers at least 2 or 3 times. I don't really blame them as they are understaffed. Anyway, it was a horrible experience. Far from the quality you'll find in Hua Hin, Pai or even Ubon. They really need to up their game.
