Hip Preservation Specialist (Chiang Mai/Bangkok)
A brief follow-up: since FAI impingement is practically unknown in Asia, according to Dr Chanakarn, doctors here have little experience with it. Even the top surgeons only see a few cases per year. I will return to my home country for the surgery, as I do not want to take the risk.

Thank you very much, I already had Dr. Chanakarn in mind and you have confirmed it.

Hip Preservation Specialist (Chiang Mai/Bangkok)
Hi all, I’m looking for recommendations for a hip preservation / hip arthroscopy specialist in Bangkok or Chiang Mai for cam-type femoroacetabular impingement (FAI) with possible labral tear. I’m hoping to find someone who regularly performs hip arthroscopy for FAI/labrum repair (ideally high-volume), not mainly a hip replacement surgeon. If you’ve had personal experience (good or bad) with specific doctors or hospitals, I’d really appreciate any names and brief details (outcome, communication, costs, waiting time). Thanks a lot!

Professional Dental Cleaning (not Bleaching) – in Jomtien, Pattaya?
No idea, I had my teeth cleaned in Chiang Mai.

Professional Dental Cleaning (not Bleaching) – in Jomtien, Pattaya?
In 90% of cases, you will get a superficial tooth cleaning. There is hardly any cleaning under the gums.

Professional Dental Cleaning (not Bleaching) – in Jomtien, Pattaya?
This is already an older thread, but I have something informative to contribute. It is best to see a periodontist who offers a deep cleaning. Then you get approximately what is done in a professional dental cleaning, e.g. in Germany or Switzerland (by a dental hygienist). Regular dentists in Thailand usually only clean superficially with ultrasonic and that is absolutely not enough.

Is buying supplements on Lazada safe?
If the stores have the "LazMall" sign, you are on the safe side. For supplements, however, it's recommended to use iherb as already mentioned.

I'm confused - Using a Visa Agent
I'm in my mid-30s, so this is the only option for me.

I'm confused - Using a Visa Agent
That’s correct

I'm confused - Using a Visa Agent
You are welcome to write to TVC yourself and ask what their services cost. Concerning effort, on the normal way you have to bring 2 witnesses to the immigration etc. You don't have to do that with TVC. You send all your documents and photos and later you get your passport back with a stamp. It couldn't be easier, but the costs are too high this year.

I'm confused - Using a Visa Agent
I just wanted to give a little feedback on TVC's prices. They are now charging a total of 80k baht for the marriage visa. Quite expensive… Fortunately, I have enough money in my Thai bank account to go the "normal" way. I would have liked to save myself the extra work, but I'm not willing to pay that price out of sheer convenience.

Sandflies
They got me full on in Pak Nam Pran 2 months ago. Both legs were full of stings and had to be treated with a cream containing cortisone. They probably got me in the evening when there was no wind. I still have some marks from the stitches.

Why did you move here to CM instead of other cities in Thailand?....Are you still happy?
As soon as you leave the city of Chiang Mai, I agree. In the more rural areas, the food is great.

Divorse or not.
My ex-wife also drinks a lot. Unfortunately, it never stopped. My new wife drinks a maximum of 1 beer per month. The relationship is going great and I'm glad I ended the old relationship. Good luck!

We are moving to Prachuap Khiri Khan after 2 years in Chiang Mai. The last burning season was disastrous. There is also a lot of traffic jam especially during the high season. The food is not very good either, it is too bland. No comparison to the food in the rest of Thailand. The friendliness of the people is also decreasing because more and more people from Bangkok live here, unfortunately. I definitely cannot recommend Chiang Mai.
