I observed this typical Thai reaction. The anti-senior sentiment is widespread. I won't go there unarmed ever again. About weekly I encountered a potentially violent reaction from the Thai Nationals. Also; disrespect and rudeness is quite common. I suspect it has a lot to do with jealousy. The Thai females almost exclusively prefer older American and European men. Who can blame them?

I just recently returned from Pattaya. Excessive micro-management by law enforcement is turning the area into a very boring tourist trap. if cannabis is again restricted. I don't think I will be returning. Likewise, anti-tourist, anti-senior sentiment is widespread and prevalent. Also the double charging of anyone perceived to be non-Thai. I love the food and the pretty girls but it ends there. With post-pandemic inflation quickly making it into one of the most expensive destinations in S.E. Asia It is just not worth the trip. Next time I will go to Cambodia. The red-light area is much more fun.

Alimony and child support. There are many in U.S. jails for failing to pay this. I suggest that once a foreigner makes a Thai girl pregnant they not be allowed to leave the country without first posting a substantial bond payable to the jilted lover and then face extradition back to a Thailand jail.

LOL! This disorder is absurd. Likely concocted by bored doctors with way too much time on their hands. Many were funded by, and still are by, the United States government during the failed war on marijuana. As a person with a higher IQ, I expect only idiots or the gullible would accept this ridiculous diagnosis. Just more Pro drug-war propaganda and laughably false.

I usually fly to Denver when in the U.S. There are a lot more shops there, by far more. What is pretentiously ridiculous is the Hyper-inflated price's of the weed. The most expensive in the world. And it is not all that potent either. Most of the weed in the shops are falsely labeled as much higher than they really are. It is really annoying to pay extortion price's for sub-par smoke. The weed is not the only thing I would like to see billowing smoke.

We have already tried Iron Curtains. Micro-managing wont work either. It is the ignorant and poorly educated that wish to be isolationists. They want to close out the world and live in their own itty-bitty world. Thailand already has among the strictest immigration policy's around. Forcing already short term tourists to make a Visa run is not a good solution. The obvious solution is to extend the visa time limits. This would cut violations dramatically. This gives the impression that Thai's simply do not like foreigners. Please come and bring your money, then GET THE HELL OUT. Micro-managing tourists shows an Authoritarian underside to Thailand. I am certain there is a better solution. The right to come and go as we please is one of the most unalienable Human Rights throughout history. It is also one of the center stones of Democracy.
