Indian tourist targeted in daring Pattaya necklace snatch
Charlest1971 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Have you been living under a rock or something? 🤔 -
Good. I wish Great Britain would re-introduce Capital Punishment for multiple murder & terrorism etc We have so many evil scumbags in jail, at the moment. Many have killed & raped children. Why does the tax payer have to pay for these people’s room & board? Let’s just execute these people. They no longer deserve to be part of civilised society.

Canna-bust: British student’s drug-filled dreams go up in smoke
Charlest1971 replied to snoop1130's topic in Thailand News
We have allowed our country to become the illegal migration capital of the world, by progressively more left wing Parliaments, Media & Judiciary. This is what happens when you dilute your population with people that come from broken, corrupt countries. This is a warning to other countries like Japan, that are thinking of opening up. -

Down under or Thai? Aussie mum trades Oz for Land of Smiles
Charlest1971 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Why can’t we delete unwanted posts? The system was not working properly. It kept saying that my post wasn’t submitted when in reality, it had been submitted, several times. Come on guys, sort out this basic UX. 😠 -
Down under or Thai? Aussie mum trades Oz for Land of Smiles
Charlest1971 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
Holy guacamole! That’s nearly £2,000/month on rent or AUD 3,680. These people sound quite well off and they couldn’t afford a house in Oz. Well, maybe they should have looked outside Sydney, first? -

Why aren’t there fire extinguishers on board? It sounds like this bus use’s extremely cheap parts. The fuel tank should be reinforced to prevent fuel leakage, in an accident. I am afraid the authorities have blood on their hands. And the blood of pure innocent children. Shame on the authorities, responsible for sourcing school transportation. 😡

Krabi Airport: Woman Lying on Baggage Belt Inappropriate, Not Illegal
Charlest1971 replied to webfact's topic in Krabi News
Then make it illegal. It is dangerous and could cause flight delays, if the conveyor belt, breaks. I realise that this isn’t a big deal, but I cannot see any reason for not making it illegal. 🤷♀️ -
Thai woman caught lying on baggage conveyor at Krabi Airport
Charlest1971 replied to snoop1130's topic in Krabi News
Don’t be ridiculous. This woman could easily have broken the conveyor belt by moving around on it. This would have caused delays for thousands of people. The fact is that there were signs warning that people shouldn’t get onto the conveyor. People need to grow up and stop showing off for Social Media. 🤷♀️ -
Foreigner Steals Taxi While High on Cannabis, Crashes into Lamp Post
Charlest1971 replied to webfact's topic in Pattaya News
Let’s be honest, weed isn’t what it used to be. Back at University, in the 90s we used to smoke Thai weed. It made us laugh and feel a little euphoric. The marijuana nowadays is extremely potent. It can make you hallucinate and all sorts. Don’t touch the stuff anymore, after a friend of mine came back from holiday in Africa, and had to be sectioned. He’d been smoking some very strong weed, out there & essentially lost his mind. In the UK, police now use a drugs test for people who drive under the influence of cannabis. Clearly, this is a drug that affects one’s motor skills, so this story doesn’t seem so far fetched? -
Chaikasem to be Nominated as New Thai PM at Special House Meeting
Charlest1971 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
But that’s hardly democratic. Surely the electorate should decide who becomes PM, by voting in a particular party at a General Election. Thai democracy sounds like the system that the Mafia employ. When someone steps out of line, he/she is booted out. At least, with UK Parties, new leaders, during an electoral cycle, are voted in, by a large membership of grass roots electorate. The Thai system is like a giant shark tank, where every now and again, a lump of meat is chucked into the mix. -
Government to Crack Down on Low-Quality Chinese Imports
Charlest1971 replied to webfact's topic in Thailand News
China seems to pride itself on how rapidly its economy has grown since 2000. But the reality is, that China has been built upon a massive amount of badly manufactured junk. China is also very good at copying inventions that other countries [USA] have put vast amounts of R&D, into. Essentially, China’s economy is a house of cards. And at some point, it will come crashing down. -

Three American Bully dogs maul 70-year-old man to death
Charlest1971 replied to webfact's topic in Isaan News
Hmmmm. Really. That seems to be to the ‘go to’ answer, for these dog owners. The bottom line is, once a dog like this, bites a human, it must be ‘put down’, immediately. -
