  1. It looks like Prik Pot haven’t got the memo about cannabis advertising, yet? There is an advert at the bottom of this feed 🤩
  2. I think cookie’s are called biscuits everywhere? But, Jaffa Cakes, now that’s a far more controversial issue…
  3. The best kebab, I ever had, was in Kas, Turkey. Thin slices of spiced lamb meat with crispy skin, covered with loads of lettuce, tomato, red onion and green chilli peppers, in a soft, warm tortilla wrap. But it was the special sauce that made this kebab, so delicious. It was a bit like a cucumber/mint Raita? The kebabs in the UK, just don’t ‘cut the mustard’, I’m afraid. Anyway, never been to Thailand, so I cannot compare? 🤷‍♀️
  4. Wait a second. Please tell me that the authorities have removed these two animals and are preparing to put them to down? I know nature is revered in certain cultures, but this is ridiculous. 😳
  5. Then come back to the UK, now and contribute to our society. It sounds like you want your cake and eat it. And by the way, if you try & enter the UK, on a dinghy, very soon, you will be sent to Rwanda without the option to return.
  6. And maybe it was dark, because clown chops destroyed the street light, at that point, in the road? Just a thought? 🤔
  7. Maybe China is just pissed off that Thailand is an American ally, along with the Phillipines, South Korea and Japan. China may have a powerful military, but the Pacific Alliance, is much stronger. 🤔
  8. I am sorry but falling into a canal, whilst drunk and not being able to swim, makes absolutely no difference, to the response that these bystanders, should have shown. I actually think people have a duty to help fellow human beings, who find themselves in danger. This doesn’t mean they had an obligation to jump into the water and risk their own lives, but they could have at least found a rope or some kind of flotation device, to help this person. Showing some humanity, doesn’t actually require very much effort. 🤷‍♀️
  9. That is an absolutely disgusting response from the little girl’s father. In most cultures, with an ounce of humanity, your courageous act would have been met with applause & gratitude. It seems that this thread stands testament to the fact that Thai culture is embedded with sadism and a propensity to enjoy other people’s suffering. I am appalled by this behaviour and will think long and hard about ever visiting Thailand.
  10. It’s one thing not to intervene because you can’t swim, but it’s entirely another, to stand there laughing? For instance, these people could’ve called the emergency services or thrown a rope to the drowning woman. I think this kind of behaviour carries some culpability, from a legal perspective?
  11. Dmitry Medvedev would be proud of this man’s ability to speak gibberish.
  12. It’s off to Putin’s front line meat grinder for him? 🤷‍♀️
  13. If the machete or a kitchen knife is his, it is bound to have his finger prints on it. This in no way means he used it, to murder someone. I think the key here, is did the murder weapon have multiple sets of finger prints on it? Perhaps someone came into the house and used this weapon?
  14. No, don’t bite your tongue. We all agree with you. And I think, in this instance, the moderators will probably sympathise with you. ????
  15. Mud. This sounds like a landslide ????‍♀️
  16. It’s a decent observation ???? Thank you for that observation, Comrade Zapitapi ????
  17. There is a difference between a ban and not being welcome. Look at the countries that have sanctioned Russia and the 142 countries that voted against Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, in the recent UN Security resolution. Even China abstained, rather than voted with Russia. Only 6 countries, like Syria & Iran, voted with Russia. Russians are now generally not welcome, in other countries. Banning them, will require legal changes etc Many people say that the Russian people have been brainwashed by the Kremlin, but I am sceptical about this. The kind of Russian people that can afford to relocate to Thailand, have money & knowledge. These people understand exactly what is going on, in Russia. They also understand that Putin invaded another sovereign nation. In a way, I don’t blame them for leaving, but wouldn’t it be better for them to try and bring change inside Russia. It only takes 3% of the population of any country to overthrow a regime, via peaceful protest, and a tenth of that, to overthrow a regime by violent means. Historically, the Russians are experts at revolution. Maybe it’s time for another one?
  18. The definition of a tourist is someone who goes on holiday for a short period and not someone who sets up a business and buys a house. I think you need to look up the definition of tourism?
  19. The USA doesn’t tend to invade other countries, unless terrorists fly aeroplanes into its buildings. It has all the natural resources and entrepreneurial spirit that it needs. The USA spreads its influence through democratic means. Countries wish to do business with the USA, which is why it’s influence has spread far & wide. In Vietnam & Afghanistan, it has been trying to stop the spread of communism. I doubt it will intervene directly, ever again.
  20. Good grief and I thought UK politics was cringe worthy. These people look like they’ve just been helping themselves to treasury money. Poor people and even the middle class in Thailand must look at these photos and think, this is wrong. Politicians first duty, should be to help people better themselves, not to enrich their own careers. ????
  21. So, after reading a whole bunch of waffle, what’s actually wrong with this man? ????‍♀️
  22. Is that guy the head of a military dictatorship, by any chance? ????
  23. That’s still only a few days to implement a new Government, which is pretty damn efficient and ensures continuity of political stability.
